  1. It would be a hell of a lot easier to make a schedule for Sweaters than for Refs and Linesmen. I think a high school sophomore could write the memo in half an hour.
  2. I agree. Or at least they should alternate months.
  3. Good numbers.
  4. That's what I thought. Shithawk.
  5. Damn right. Now that he's given blood.
  6. No need to. I'm sure you'll let us know when self-congratulations are in order.
  7. Was Rich Kellman the anchor at 2 in the mid-70's? I can't remember.
  8. Is that what it looks like?
  9. That isn't ringing a bell for me. I was a channel 7 guy. Rick, Irv, Tom.
  10. Walsh to Eagles > Iginla to Pens
  11. That had me laughing. Kaleta's genius is he fights just enough to unnerve people. Not that he's an accomplished fighter.
  12. Definitely a future move IMO. No way Darcy plunks a rookie D-man right into the show unless what he says is true: It was what he had to offer to sign the kid.
  13. I think only Tsujimoto wore 49 I should order that jersey.
  14. It was kind of a snoozer.
  15. Like left-handed pitching in baseball. they are just harder to find.
  16. I was very impressed with C-Roo (let's face it, I abbreviate something or spell his real name 50 different ways). He played such a poised game yesterday. He can skate, nice vision, and a decent shot. Made smart plays. Love that he's a right-handed shot. That should make one for each pair going forward - Myers, and Pysyk.
  17. If I follow your logic: he's at the same time one-dimensional, but more multi-dimensional than anyone else.
  18. It always seemed to me Lydman had it on loan. #5 will always be Mike Ramsey to me. Kind of like Mike Moller wearing #14. Of course Jason Wooley had #5 too. (didn't he?) But it wasn't Blue and Gold. #5's were Lee Fogolin, Ramsey, Wooley
  19. Funk 49?
  20. Funny he was wearing #5. I remember Mike Ramsey's quick debut after the Olympics in 1980. It is always strange for me to see anyone else wearing #5.
  21. Have the magic power in you?
  22. A guy that plays 1st, 2nd, 3rd line, PK, and PP with a fairly even number of zone starts is one dimensional? All I can say is that the Sabres need more one dimensional centers.
  23. He's probably working just as hard. Because there is no top 6 in Buffalo. He's the only center opponents really need to shut down. Ideally he'd be anchoring a 2nd line. We just don't have that kind of talent yet.
  24. I would think he'd go with Pardy on a third pairing. Pardy's a lefty stay at home, Rooster looks pretty mobile and is a Righty. (I'm just guessing he's Rooster. Sounds like a natural).
