As much as I want them to suck this year, their fans have had to put up with a joke for a while. I hope both them and the oilers do great (next year) for the sake of their fans.

Yea it sounds about right. Our 19 year old defenseman, 20 year old defensemen, and 21 year old center would've been on that list if they weren't in the nhl. There development has been great!

I didn't call him a number one. His play is more of a 2/3. Maybe one day he'll be a number one, maybe not. But a young right handed second pairing defenseman has value to any team. Anyone who thinks he hasn't played good this, then I'll agree to disagree

The negative opinion of Myers from this board is certainly the minority. Myers is a huge guy playing as a solid #2 or #3 for this entire season and much of last season. We are a rebuilding team, not a get rid of anyone that's not a rookie team

Murray said he hasn't called anyone about Myers. How could that be a smokescreen to other GMs? They know if he has called them or not, so how is that fact he said driving up the cost? Anyone explain what I'm missing haha?

Not to take anything away from our recent DCs, but let's give some credit to our front office who put this D together. It has a vast amount of pure talent at every position
