  1. thats that! Now let's root for NYI to keep not winning and hope 3-4 teams can pass them on the standings
  2. haha, it looks like a good chance the islanders finalize their playoff birth (unofficially) today Detroit's defense is so slow, and islanders defense is just poor
  3. Nurse hasn't done anything to lower his post draft stock, but I think rasmus goes higher in a redraft. But this won't be decided for many years lol
  4. I agree pysyk needs to be up from the start
  5. capitals up 2 with 10 minutes to go, and islanders give up a goal a minute into the game. Bruins also up fast. We need a perfect sweep today (go caps, bruins, and senators) islanders down 2 (3 minutes into the first). lol islanders score 2 to tie it up in the next 2 minutes edit: 6 goals in the first 10 minutes. And detroit missed a true open netter a few seconds ago. These teams arent the best at the D right now
  6. I have no clue if it is a myth or not either. Definitively lots of examples, but you hockey is a streaky sport. So you would think it would lead into the playoffs, but I dont know.
  7. Chris Watson
  8. Regier Leino
  9. I think all that crap is right. (I have too much time on my hand)
  10. well Ottawa sucks :wallbash: to even make this interesting, islanders gotta lose and bruins+senators gotta win sunday
  11. haha yea. The only way this happens is if NY just laughably collapses. So det and Was picking 3-4 points is the easy part
  12. made this for fun, probably not accurate with the magic number (just based on what it would take for the lowest team's (senators) maximum points to fall below the playoff team's current points.) Basically, all these teams have to pass new york, and for that to happen, new york has not win very few games and boston and Ottawa gotta win a lot.
  13. What is so confusing about a rebuild that brings in high end talent through the draft to build a new core with the hopes of winning a Stanley cup? Can't tell if you all are just trying to bother Tank or actually believe this stuff?
  14. Why would the players ever do that though? They aren't going to take it upon themselves to throw a game and jeopardize their career to "teach" another team a lesson
  15. He took a hard hit at the end of the 2nd period yesterday. Went to the lockeroom with less than a minute in the period i think
  16. Fair enough :) I think I'd still say no
  17. If we win the lottery and ARI gets #2. Would you trade McDavid for Eichel, Perlini (#12), Domi (#12), Gormley (#13), and Blackhawks first rounder?
  18. Unfortunately a gross overpayment is at least what it would take. Teams (even if they are open to it) don't trade away generational players for a reasonable offer. Who are out top young players? Risto, Girgs, Reinhart? I think they'd want two of them
  19. There is a differene between the two, and it will take trading 5 times what that difference is to trade up. It's why the trade will never happen from either team
  20. Our fans are passionate. We have a terrible team. What other team's fans have embraced losing and a rebuild like us with such enthusiasm? Those fans last night were at least educated fans having a good time while watching weber be a bad hockey player. The reason a drastic rebuild is an option for Buffalo is because our fans can tolerate it. If he didn't like what happened, then the alternative was to boo him for being such a dumbass
  21. Still xd Whoever gets him is going to be lucky. Luck isn't something buffalo sports has. We had to EARN Eichel
  22. i cant even comprehend being lucky enough to get mcdavid. I'm just rooting for last and eichel
