This is awesome. I'm going to get it printed as a poster, and hang it up in the cave! I don't think that he can necessarily "turn players around," I just think that he is able to get the most out of certain players. Stafford and Kane? Yes. Ovechkin and Semin? Doubtful.

I always felt the same way about Osgood too.

I think Nolan would have a better shot of whipping him into shape than Noel or Maurice or Bylsma.

I think that the Sabres could elevate to mediocre, if they wanted to. Besides players like Ott, Stastny, and Callahan becoming available, there is an interesting crop of decent vets this year in FA. Plus, it's another year older for all the current kids.

26CB is the man.

I think a lot of people are underestimating what Nolan can do with a full season of a mediocre roster. We have seen it before.
