Looking at what Florida did in going out and trading for the great Seth Jones makes me wish we could swing trades like that. He's the type of veterans defenseman any team could use. Hoping KA or whoever is in charge gets a veteran d-man who is good in here to round out the d-core

He is still playing...in the playoffs for a good team. I don't get the complaint about him, he was a very solid player. I'm sure there is some wing-ding analytic saying he is weak in 2 on 2 situations away from the puck in high scoring situations, or something. In the NHL. He will play somewhere, and Adam's point was that since he would be sitting a lot, and not complaining, he is not a cancer. He is cheap, plays decent and is ready when an injury happens. He isn't very important in the larger scheme, but when you run out of defenseman, you lose games

The fans just enjoyed a good game yesterday. The beer flowed, the game was a good one and the fans loved it. There is just a special thing about being at the game, being around other fans you don’t even know and sharing in the good and the bad. I have been watching the Ken Burns series on baseball lately and really enjoying it. Kind on made me really want to get to one last game this year, “take me out to the ball game” and all that. I have not been the most faithful in attending games over the years, but now I’m more better able to and am Going to. It’s just so much fun. I was in the second row right on the ice looking at the players and them looking at us. I like seeing all the stuff you can’t see on tv, like the players and refs talking, the little player huddles and warm ups.
