Keith in his prime was a great player. If Dahlin turns into that level of talent I’ll be very happy with that.

I think he just looked outstanding after the new staff came in. Best player on the team, IMO. Steve Smith just didn’t seem like the best person to coach him, they have such different styles. The rest of the D looked good, too.

I feel like we had two seasons last year. The first with RK, a hurt Jack playing, Hutton in goal and Steve Smith coaching our young defenseman. It was awful. Then Donny G came on, Jack left, the ATM line emerged, R2 arrived, Girardi got the defense running like a well tuned machine. Add decent goaltending and we should have a decent team.

Yup, the people with fewer friends and influence get targeted mostly. But there are other incidents where like the Ohio State guy who jacked off in a public shower all the time and no one did anything about it. And that (I think) Olympic gymnast trainer. He would insert his finger in the girls acting like he was doing a medical thing and the parents were right there watching! Some people just do whatever they can get away with. So we don’t know if this guy was doing something that could be some what plausibly be denied, at least to those who did not want to deal with it.

Somebody needs to be held accountable. I’d hate to be the idiot that wrote his letter of recommendation. My god, what the hell. These are not shy guys, they show courage on the ice all the time. Strange they stayed silent. I’d like to think I’d speak up, but who knows what pressures the players felt to stay silent.
