Before the video loaded and I could see what it was, I assumed it was going to be Bills, Bills, Bills by Destiny's Child... This makes a little more sense.

 I'm sorry that life has been cruel to you since then. Jo and Doohickie, how did you post the pictures like that? How did I know that woody had a thin blonde mustache? You must have posted a picture before or at least described what you look like.

You're just not talented enough.

Larkin and Fasching were a fun pairing to watch at the WJC. Glad to see Larkin continue to ball.

This team is 2-3 years from contending, so even if Lehner flops, TM has some time to find a replacement. Also, Ullmark should be ready for backup duty by then.

I largely agree with your making fun of nfreeman, but this is objectionably expressed.

That's fair. Above I classified him as a sniper/o-zone lurker but you're right that paying the price in the slot is how he gets a lot of his goals. "Finisher" is more accurate than "sniper."
-
Moulson is a sniper, that's what he does. So far, Hot Daniel has been playing him with tougher grinder types which doesn't suit his game at all. Just because a top 6 forward is being misused doesn't mean he's all of the sudden not a top 6 forward. In my view, Kane and Moulson are both being misused.

My point was that you're not going to see TM go out and acquire a #1 goalie until Lehner gets his shot. Lehner is a guy that a lot of people are down on already, despite the fact that he's only had a few pre-season games to get back into form and then promptly got injured again. I'm not saying he's the answer, but he deserves the same patience we're giving Bylsma and this young squad.

Nothing I've seen from Eichel indicates to me that he needs physical sheltering. It's obviously nice to have a power forward who can throw 'em on his line, but Eichel is already big and fast. As for offensive zone play, their speed definitely causes a lot of havoc, but rarely has resulted in possession or quality chances. I think Ennis can definitely skate with Eichel, but speed matching is not necessarily the most important thing. Having a sniper/o-zone lurker like Moulson could benefit Eichel's game, and wouldn't necessarily cause problems in the neutral zone as long as the other winger is faster.

We already have who TM thinks is a strong goalie, he's just hurt.

Extremely close? He blasted it into the defender's leg. And I still think we are having this conversation if Kane had 2 goals. I think O'Reilly and Eichel are our best forwards, Kane is a close 3rd. I just don't see a fit in Kane and Eichel's styles. I want both of these guys to be the ones carrying the puck. I love the idea of Zemgus and Marcus following Evander in on the forecheck.
-
Put Kane with Zemgus and Marcus on the third line. Impossible to play against.

Yesterday, instead of going to the game I met my girlfriend at the Ithaca booksale. Found a Benny Goodman vynl where he plays Octopus's Garden and On a Clear Day (You Can See Forever). Haven't got to listen to it yet because my tramp sister stole my turntable. Was much more fun than the Bills game. I'm actually mad that I spent 45 minutes watching the recording when I got home. Moral of the story: Always skip Bills games if you're thinking about it.

This. So much this.

No chance they fire Rex. Whaley is another story.

It's a dead heat. Charles Johnson is a bum. AP is a BUM.

I hate football. The Bills offense is bad, the D is not as good as it should be, and the special teams are a joke. EJ did a good job making short throws... and that was about it. He looked exactly the same as he did against the Pats week 1 in his rookie season. He made absolutely no progress/development whatsoever from what I saw today. If this team makes the playoffs, it's on the back of Tyrod Taylor. Sammy and Kyle injured?

What a treat for hockey

Some dustings between Ithaca and Elmira today. Pretty.

Fun game. Great to see the Sabres skating so hard and taking it to the Lightening in the first. Reinhart was good, and shows what players can do when they're put on the right line. SPEAKING OF WHICH, how how how how how are Kane and Eichel still together? I've seen maybe one clean pass between the two of them in the offensive zone (the one from Eichel to Kane after Jack split the D and layed it back into the slot) in five games. They get decent zone time because they're so ridiculously fast, but they don't possess the puck at all. Eichel played with Matt Moulson for 20 seconds and they connected in the offensive zone for a great scoring chance. What is Hot Daniel seeing that I'm not? Blahhh. Great game by the defense. They have been a very pleasant surprise. Weber - Franson continues to play well despite their near impossible assignments. Pysyk was great today, looked like Sekera out there. McCabe played well despite being victimized on the first goal (real crappy luck on those bounces). I love the way this kid stands up at the blue line. A good game from Risto, but I want to see him take over some shifts... Maybe in time. Gorges did what Gorges do, he's been solid all year. O'Reilly was a beast once again. He created something like 4 or 5 turnovers tonight, a couple of which were cleanly picked off passes. Dude is everything Blue promised. -
Ryan O'Reilly and Jamie McGinn traded to Sabres

All of this sounds like "offensive 2nd line player" to me.
