Serena is amazing. I'm still glad for the kid. Naomi was working Serena side to side so well! I hated the warning for coaching and I hated the game penalty. I think Naomi had her without that.

We have all 8 returning for Gold. Good work everyone. @North Buffalo I sent you an invite to join. That makes 9. Let's get 3 more and make this league nice and tough. I haven't won in a few years and I'm getting hungry!

By the way, Naomi Osaka just took down Serena to win the US Open. Good for her.

Hands are as advertised as well.

This is some beer league stuff right now.

Thought it was weak. It was s### talk 101. Evander and Mac get it and they s### talked him right back. Jack and a bunch of the other guys got all wounded. -
Sabres: F Bills: C

No need to qualify. We're no better than anyone else. You're in if you want in.

Kane and MacKinnon had the best takes.

For the record, I haven't been optimistic about the sabres since we signed Christian Ehrhoff. I was soooo pumped going into that season. Feels like it's been all downhill since then. I think lasted 1 extra season of paying to watch the sabres than I did the bills. I haven't been pumped about the bills since Drew Bledsoe. I've at least seen a sabres win in person. The bills have me at 0-13. Wait! I was pumped about the Sammy Watkins pick...fml

There's a spot. I'll paste the link fairly soon. Gold definitely needs 2 more to make 10. I'd like to get to 12 and I still need to see who is returning from last year.

The Orioles are wearing braille jerseys on September 18th. As in all the wording will be printed in braille. I'm so confused.

Gold has been renewed. We have room for 4 more if everyone from last year returns. Emails have been sent. Let me know if you're interested.

I keep a beer league racing ski, an all mountain ski and a park ski. I always bring 2 of them to the mountain. I'll ski all mountain til mid afternoon, then I'll go hang out in the park and do dumb stuff with the kids and park rats. I literally never know what i'll be in the mood for from one day to the next.

I think they knew it was over and no one was buying a new Journey album. So they became a cover band of themselves.

So many places, so little time (and money) my 2 home mountains now are Camelback and Montage Mountain. I'll hit up Gore and Whiteface in NY when I go home. I need to drag my dad out to Gore again for old times sake. My local ski shop does 2 bus trips to Hunter, so I'll jump on that and I'm doing Mount Washington, NH in March. Gonna try to squeeze an April Killington trip to close out the season. Wanted to do Stowe and Jay Peak, but the wife put her foot down ? Oh well, I'm getting away with a lot.

I love that there's Copper and Cooper right near each other. That makes me laugh. I have heard nothing but good things about all of those mountains. Vail is, well, Vail. I'd definitely add Aspen(all 4) to the list, just to feel like a celebrity for the day. And Telluride looks like the most awesome winter town ever. My uncle lived at the base of Breck for years and absolutely loves that mountain. I've heard good things about Silverton too.
-
Yep, and the Mountain Collective pass isn't any better because it's only 2 days at each mountain. Whats your home mountain now if you don't mind me asking?
-
This is not encouraging. I thought they were going to make noise this year. Guess I'll have to change my prediction to LSU.
-
Eh. maybe. For my money, currently, it's Don't Stop Believin! But the first time anyone heard Journey, admit it, you loved them. If you say otherwise, I'd say you're a damn liar! There's a reason you all know all the words to: Don't Stop Believin, Any Way You Want It, Wheel In The Sky, Faithfully, Separate Ways, Lights, Lovin' Touchin' Squeezin', Open Arms, and Be Good To Yourself.

Ren wrote a good deal of the lyrics, but Cube is the one who made Eazy E a rapper. Ren was the main lyricist on 100 Miles And Runnin' and the N*****4 Life albums, which weren't even close to Straight Outta Compton, but they lost one of the most powerful voices in rap. They still weren't bad by any means. I thought Ren was a great collaborator, but he took easy links for rhymes a little too often for me(verse in Straight Outta Compton better compared to F** tha Police).
