  1. That really hurt people that had the Sabres minus 1.5 and the over at 6.5 like myself! If I believed god I'd be certain he hates me 🤦🏼‍♂️
  2. They can not play Olofsson again. If Greenway isn't ready, they need to call up someone from the Amerks
  3. After watching Kulich tonight, I really think he has a chance to play for the Sabres next season. Which probably means the end of Krebs, I would think , as a sabre
  4. you never know, there arent many prospects who are prototypical 3rd or 4th liners ahead of him
  5. not sure about the future but I do know he is already a better player than Jeff Skinner
  6. Anyone else remember people thought it would be a good idea to trade away JJP for an Established goal scorer ?
  7. Yep 1000% right He isn't a bottom 6 players either. Skinner the player isn't really the issue - a lot of teams have a player that only cares about offence. the Skinner persona is really the issue The 1000 games without making the playoffs, the happy go lucky attitude, doesn't seem like a guy that really cares if they win or lose. You can not have one of the 2 players on your team over 30 be a guy that doesn't bring it every shift at both ends of the ice. He is supposed to be a role model for the youngest team in the league relegate him to 13 forward or buy him out
  8. Imagine if skinners 1000 was vs the Leafs? Would have been kinda funny Anyone else feeling conflicted about tonight's game? there is a part of me that wants them to boo and litter the ice with the beanies , especially if they come out and stink up the joint BUT then I think it's the man's night, it's not the time to protest the state of the team.
  9. Who is that on the Canucks ? They were a tire fire just over a year ago they bring in Tochett and make a few changes to the bottom of the lineup and a couple of new dmen Certainly didn't blow their team up And im not saying just make a coaching change in Buffalo. They need to revamp the bottom 6 and get guys who are physical and bring energy But a coach can make a world of difference
  10. I don't agree with this I think the Canucks are a prime example on what difference a coach can make
  11. Thanks 👍. Imagine now if Power was minus 20???
  12. Defenceman younger than power to have played 50 plus games this year Hughes minus 40 Mintyukov minus 20 Nemec minus 4 Korchinski. Minus 34 Power Plus 3 and plays substantially more mins on avg than the other 4 Relax about Power!
  13. It's laughable. Same people always want guys to be traded before they develop. Dahlin and Mitts are 2 recent examples. There is a reason there aren't many 20 year old dmen in the league. You come off like an idiot if youve Given up on a player so young.
  14. Exactly. Addition by subtraction
  15. The 4th line should be guys who wear hard hats and bring it every game. Play physical and provide energy Not sure I would call them scrubs but definitely not your Jeff Skinner types either. WHomever had their hands on the construction of PP, be it either Elllis or DG (or both) needs to be fired into the sun.
  16. In the 3 years prior to be traded by the Hurricanes she 24, 37 and 28 but they realize its not just about scoring goals and were a much better team immediately after trading him for Cliff Pu and some draft picks. Sabres need to do the same.
  17. I think he is terrible on the PP. Yes he has 8 goals and that leads the team but he isn't strong on the puck and isn't the best passer in the world. Think he is now on PP2 which is where he belongs. More from Brind'Mour after trading away Skinner " I think it sends a message of what kind of Hurricane we're looking for, what kind of player we want." The 6 years prior to trading Skinner, the Hurricanes have a record of 192-198 with zero playoff appearances. 35-35-11 in the 2017-18 season. The next year after trading away Skinner, adding Svechnikov as a rookie and flip Hanifan for Hamilton they go 48-29-7. That 35-25-7 record seems familiar to Sabres fans. Actually the reason I don't want him on the Sabres next year is because I don't think he should be in the Bottom 6 and I think both JJP and Benson have passed him as the top 6 wingers going into next year.
  18. Here is a question for the peanut gallery skinner has 3 goals in his last 9 games. Which would be about 28 over an 82 game season now all 3 came in one game would you consider this player a consistent scorer or inconsistent? Rod Brind'amour knew. here is a quote before Jeff was traded to the Sabres "Now we've got guys to push him out of spots," Brind'Amour said. "If you're not going to quite dig in every shift then maybe you don't get every shift. That's definitely what I'm trying to preach and I've got to back that up." yes he scores BUT at what cost to the team?
  19. He has 17 points in games the Sabres score 6 or more (8 times) 28 points in the other 59 games.
  20. 25 of the last 31 games have been decided by 3 goals or less. In those 25 games , Jeff Skinner has 3 goals and 4 assists. he might score but not when it matters If he isn't scoring he brings absolutely nothing to team. Make a statement and buy him out.
  21. That does worry me but I just have to believe that at least 2 if not all 3 holes are plugged by vets. They just cannot afford to get younger another year in AHL for Kulich and Savoie is probably best for everyone. Though both could be used as injury callups and hopefully ready to fill in at and play at a high level
