I like to say I've been very hard on Tuch this year. His unwillingness to stand in front of the net on the PP is my biggest peeve. I would have him off PP1 all together. And dont get me started on his unwillingness to use his frame to throw a check on a defender. I think it was the last game or two I questioned if he (Tuch) was the most in accurate passer on the team. Krebs can be easily disposed and doesnt make $9million. Also, I dont think his effort needs to be questioned as it is the Skinner

where are you playing him next year? Sabres obviously dont want / trust him any longer on line 1 How much does he score away from Tage and Tuch? I do think he represents a huge part of the problem. His lack of 2 way effort is well documented. I would put Benson on Line 1 and give up 10 goals in order to get everything else Benson brings to the game. Its not all about Keep or Get rid of. If you keep him, whats his role?

and its got the Sabres no where and play him where? I'm open to having getting the Olofsson treatment and fill in as the 13th forward when needed

ok, so you want him on your top line? you feel comfortable going into next year with Skinner - Krebs - Benson as your 3rd line ? also imply that Greenway is either #1 LW or #4 Left Wing , neither is a role I want him in

In the most important games of the season Skinner is dropped down to the 3rd line. they have Greenway on the 1st line but, I think we can agree ,he is better suited for the 3rd line begs the question. What to do with Jeff Skinner in the summer ? has a NTC, gets paid $9 for 3 more years, his defensive game is adequate at best. he is the teams oldest forward and isn't a great example for how the game should be played to the young players. At least in my opinion.

You may remember they tried that not too long ago when the tanked for Eichel / McDavid You remember when the traded Mitts cause they already had their top 2 centers paid? They aren't getting another Center who would slot above Tage and Cozens

They are paying Cozens to be 2C. Right or wrong, they won't be moving him down the lineup

Skinner would be the clear cut winner. Especially if you don't include Olofsson and Comrie who are most definitely gone

Quinn the top 6 at today practice are you happy if this is the top 6 going into next year ? would be cool to get a LW to drop Greenway to the 3rd line BUT then you have an issue with what to do with Skinner. Yes, I understand his metrics are good 5v5 I just don't think you should have a one dimensional player on your top line, especially when you have the youngest team in league. Your vets need to set a standard i would probably want them to switch Benson to 1st line and Greenway to 3rd skinner Krebs greenway as your 3rd line isn't terrible I don't think

thorny is correct though, just cause you are young doesn't mean one day you will be good I would suggest that it is important that the Sabres get older Organically everyone will be a year older but Olofsso nand Comrie will both be out and are 29. The 3rd line centre is going to have to be a vet and potentially they have to bring in a legit 1st line winger

Not to mention being brilliant vs Vancouver the other night. Im just being nitpicky on the wording...

Which owner ?

Not sure him being a really good player is a surprise to people was consistent on the Sabres, the exact type of player they need on their PP right now. Willing to stand in front of the net and take a beating, toughness matched with elite hand-eye co-ordination. The current sabers have a guy with the size but but not the courage to stand in front of the net - Tuch and a guy willing to stand in front of the net but nowhere near the skill of Samon - Greenway. Hopefully Levi and Kulich will eventually damped the pain once they become NHL regulars

That back check by Benson on the Kadri 2-1 is why he has a roster spot on the Sabres next season and Skinner is 13th forward at best on my books

Savoie ends his regular season with 71 points in 34 games his 2.09 pts/gm was the leagues best think a lot of us are sleeping on how good this player is already He will either have a long trip towards the Memorial Cup or be an integral part of the Amerks playoff push
