Forget paying $15 million or whatever to get Marner. figure out the salary it would take for the leafs to have to walk away from Knies and offer him that. You would have to hope that they resign Marner at a significant number and Tavares doesn't take a huge hometown discount.

No, when Bryson played they lost games .371 winning % on the year with him in the lineup I might have this wrong but I believe down the stretch (before the last game ) 8-1-1 without Bryson 0-5 with him
