I agree. I think he feels above the team. Hard to divine what is going on in the locker room, but there seems some fatal mixture of personalities that don't push each other. My personal take is that I don't think the talent is nearly as bad as it looks, but that there is a personal lack of hustle and mental fragility. It feels like I am watching a group of prima donnas who don't think team. I thought getting rid of Roy would help attitude, but I think Pominville needs to go (he's not a leader but has trade value), move Miller for a goalie and someone else. Time to make some big moves. And fire Darcy because he won't fix this mess. I think if he does something drastic, he would tacitly be admitting he made a mistake, and it looks like none of this is anybody's fault. Leadership is not only taking the blame, but having a plan to fix it. No one around here is a stand up guy. Kaleta, of all people, takes the blame. If I am Miller, I would not be calling out one of the guys with real balls. And worst of all, they are playing dull, listless hockey.

Maybe he is the cancer in the locker room. The way he talks sends a bad vibe - always looks like a downer to me. So maybe Miller can go. I don't know who needs a goalie bad to win it all this year. Not sure what we can get for him. 32 is reasonably old for a goalie, isn't it? He has trade value and his attitude seems shot here. Time to rebuild with a younger guy. Played his best when the US won Silver.

Benching Kaleta? I fon't get it. Play Hecht? He makes this team less soft. This coach will be out with Regier at then end of the season in all likelihood. I am hoping Washington drubs us so we can hit rock bottom and we fully re-tool. Let's play out the string and trade for some youth. This crew does not have either talent or heart. Rolston seems to be proving that there are no brains here either.

This team is scary bad.

I missed Kaleta's hit (putting a sick 10 year old to bed), but I like his hustle and what he brings to the game. I will take the occasional stupid thing he does. I feel he does more smart things than dumb, and brings a fire that tends to change the game.

You can only hope to contain Gerbe.

It was more exciting game than most. No shame losing to a good team - Pittsburgh is better. If we played every game like that, we would not be doormats. Team has some skill but is indifferently motivated. That is on coaching and leadership. Putting on my predictive hat, I would expect this group in the next game to let down completely. Today they played with some excitement. Would like Scott to fight someone every game. Be an offensive tool where they actively need to fear us. Its not enough to just be protecting our guys. Scott needs to put some guys through the boards. Otherwise, don't dress him.

We have a good show for you tonight. Remember to tip your waitresses and bartenders....

Better game than i thought after the first two minutes. Effort seemed decent. Would like to see a real fight and some aggression to take it up a notch.

I watch the games on a foreign internet site for free. If I actually had to pay for this I would love my mind. I don't know who would buy a ticket to watch this crap. I hope people start to vote with their feet and their pocketbook. It might be the only way to force a change. But I think it needs to get a lot worse than this.

I like losing streak because they might make change happen. However, Lindy usually gets them on a winning streak just long enough to save his job.

I think a Stanley Cup is so far in the future no one who is here now will see it. However, Patrick Kaleta's son will be on the team that wins it all. In the future, people will be using motorized skates too....
