    Everybody relax, we all want fireworks after the past two years and they will come eventually. Keep in mind the oilers have played two games so far and have only "scored" one goal which was actually an own goal from their first apoearance. Our offense has scored two and they have zilch so maybe everything isn't ? I don't know, too much scotch tonight? I was at the game and it was a little disappointing to not see much offense but it will come, I hope. It must and it shall and it will. Somebody make some noise in this joint!

    I'm hoping the Sabres put on a show today because it's a rare home game that I'll be in attendance for. I'm also skipping my friends wedding part of his wedding to watch them so I hope they make it worthwile.

    RJ missed training camp with an injury and came back a little over weight and out of shape. Give him a few games to heal up and shake off the rust and really settle in.

    Eichel goal was great and all but this team really needs to play 60 minutes. We saw the same thing in that game against Minnesota. That offsides challenge hurts but we'll get some calls in our favor down the line.

    BOLD PREDICTION: SABRES COME OUT SWINGING IN THE THIRD AND WIN 4-2 I missed the first two periods but am now in front of a TV with a beer in hand. Glad they got the jitters out in the first two periods now it's time to wake the #### up and play some hockey. I wanna hear that goal song.

    What I'm most excited about is having actual talent for RJ to call the game to. It's not Sabres hockey without him calling the games while he's still able.

    Ugh. I am an idiot and booked a flight that takes off at 6:38 pm today and doesn't land until 8:08 pm in Buffalo. Hopefully the wifli on jetblue is powerful enough to run hockey streams, if not I'll settle for audio. Can't wait to watch the Sabres smear the ice with these Ottawa jerks.

    TSN put out an article today listing the top line for each team going into the season: http://www.tsn.ca/top-30-lines-heading-into-nhl-season-1.372439 8 teams they have a "1" and "1A" line due to certain teams being stocked with so much talent there's no clear cut definition of a first line. It's nice to see the Sabres listed as one of those 8 teams. Anaheim, Chicago, Detroit, Edmonton, Pittsburgh, San Jose and Tampa Bay are the other 7 teams on that list. Pretty good company to be in. Things are starting to come up Sabres!

    Unofficially, yes. Officially, they have to have the roster down to 23 sometime tomorrow.

"A handful of Sabres who skated in Thursday’s 6-1 loss in Minnesota will play again Friday. Bylsma confirmed thatSam Reinhart, Johan Larsson and Rasmus Ristolainen will be back in the lineup and he expects a better effort from all of them." With Reinhart & Larsson being in tonight. I wonder who the odd man out in the bottom 6 will be. Legwand?
