    I'd like to see the Defense score a goal tonight. Eichel made it a point to shoot more. I'm hoping that. a.) we start to see this and b.) it works and he puts some in, igniting confidence which in turns help leads this team to string a few Ws together and climb in the standings.

    I liked seeing Bailey finish his check there. He made the defenseman rush the pass and that resulted in an offsides. We need more of that. Are the NBC commentators supposed to even try to be impartial or are they just told to slobber all over the knobs of the caps?

    Prospect Park opened up their ice rink this weekend and their league play starts today. I've got a game at 1030 pm tonight..lot's of hockey for me tonight :)

    I'll pretend to bite. Eichels contract + his on ice attitude of not looking like he's trying/cares makes him untradeable. No way the other team's GM (i don't know who Keller is or who he plays for) makes that trade and handcuffs his franchise for the next 9 years.

    If i remember correctly the Ray was "called-up" as the original color guy had a family emergency or something. Ray is essentially NBC sports' very own Zach Redmond.

    This game feels like the early seeding rounds of an international tournament where Canada is playing a country that's located in a place where they never get ice naturally and the economic situation of the country has recently improved allowing them to create an ice rink for the first time ever and they decided they wanted to play hockey.

    I'd love to go to that game but getting to and from the stadium is a nightmare.
