I personally would have liked Rosen in Murray's spot. You need to start seeing if Rosen has what it takes versus gifted minutes to a 26yr old AHL guy. I think Benson, McLeod, Zucker is the formation of a defensively responsible 2nd line. Zucker and McLeod are 4th and 5th in scoring for forwards and Benson is sound enough defensively that we shouldn't worry about him dragging that line down at all. I think that line is far better than anything Kulich would be centering if he were healthy.

They simply transition up ice slower and play a more deliberate counter attacking game than the NHL which is very much based on setting up 2v1s in rapid succession. All that said, I think bringing in Marjala is a good idea. He's 10th in Liiga in ppg. He's first in u25 for ppg. He has a lot of assists and I would want to know how many points he gets on the PP.

UPL is something like 28th or 29th in goals saved above expected. He's one of the very bottom starters and considering that this team is good at 5v5 scoring and their possession, shot metrics, and overall xgf hovers around the middle of the league, it seems pretty obvious that UPL is bad. Will he be good next year? Idk, sure if the defense is better his numbers will improve but I don't think he's a good goalie. He's an average to a below average starter who is inconsistent and will have decent stretches. Once again you are trying to attack me and make it about me. I have nothing to do with it.
