resale market has little to do with the season ticket price, starting point is usually individual game face value. That's what's printed on the ticket, even if it was bought at season ticket prices.

What's the line on Michael Sam? If he doesn't get picked, would it turn into a media circus?

understanding the fundamentals is how you gain good intuition. Valuable engineers are the ones who can make decisions without all the data, and estimate results before the calculations and models are complete. All this comes from intuition derived from understanding the fundamentals.

I refer to brownouts as "Slide Show Memory" You can remember individual pictures of the evening, but some things are missing, and nothing is in order.

IMO the people who are seeing the price increase as a complete negative are the ones who can't see the bigger picture because the details are in the way. And yes, I am personally directing this as an attack against you, your character, and your honor. ;)

It really is simple. The increase in ticket prices directly affects the league total HRR, which directly increases the Salary Cap, which helps his wealth become more of an advantage. I really is the reason for doing it. This years fake price increase is absolute proof of that. Additionally, by qualifying got revenue sharing, he's taking money out of the pockets of other teams. It helps the Sabres, it hurts the other teams. If he DIDN'T do it I'd be upset. It has nothing to do with anything else mentioned in this thread.

They cannot give up the 1st rounder next year, they may need to take a QB.

his problem isn't a test, his problem is a felony. Hopefully the judge and prosecutor aren't Auburn Fans.

Then your response to my explanation of the price increase is not germane. His meddling and the GMs skill is irrelevant to this decision to maximize the leverage of his available capital.
-
Is your contention that an owner with additional capital is not an advantage to a professional sports team?
-
Because the higher the HRR --> the higher the cap --> the more advantage his billions provide the team. it's pretty simple.
-
It's a wash. A way to continue to play their part in increasing HRR while not having an effect on our (season ticket holders') bottom line. Well played.

There's no way he stays in North America on that schedule, IMO.

Even the command at the end where he said, "we got this buddy, go ahead and walk the last 50."

People who, in the 21st century, think gambling addiction and alcoholism are lifestyle choices, and that those "choices" are making people have fat, happy lives. Also, vaping hipsters.

his gifts were almost always predicated on receiving some sort of award (like the NAACP lifetime award) these awards were for the sole purpose of insulating himself against discrimination lawsuits by his tenants. By accepting the donation and giving the awards these charities were often actively undercutting the very people they are chartered to protect. They should have never accepted the gift in the first place under those conditions, and whatever good they may have been able to do with the money, was most certainly undone by their tacit protection of a racist landlord.

The entire main cast of the original stars wars trilogy is returning to reprise their roles in Star Wars VII (which will take place 30 years after Return of the Jedi) This is most awesome.

Why you gotta be a sexist?

yeah, I caught the hyperbole (and responded in kind, i think) I do think the race card is played too much. I think it's all about class. I think it has everything to do with poverty. and I think the 13th Amendment had very little impact on the Wealthiest Americans' ability to effectively own people.
