    I wonder how much they cost? if they're building a new generation test-rig each year, leading up to a prototype, they can 't possibly cost more than $30-$40M in terms of parts and labor. Negligible fuels costs (literally run on water), probably some significant maintenance an monitoring, assuming a 30 year life, your looking at around $10/MWh, like half the cost of Hydro (current cheapest) and a quarter the cost of even the dirtiest coal plants. That's some disruptive technology right there.

    Just quoting this as a reference to how we thought the panic would go. All in all, the Dallas and Texas health departments handled this just about as poorly as I could possibly imagine, and still, the panic hasn't really materialized outside of Cable News. This likely means that step one of the federal Ebola Response plan was probably to drop large amounts of aerosol Prozac from stealth drones over the entire country.

    We have a very clear definition of the term "Hockey Words" in my house. These are the words you are only allowed to say while actively watching a hockey game. My 6-year-old son occasionally scolds me, "Dad! You said a Hockey Word!" I don't see any sense in shielding him, but helping him understand context is important.
