  1. Anders Bjork with 3 assists...it's like Adams knew he'd help Chicago beat Ottawa!
  2. Tim Graham and Mike Harrington going at it publicly...no one wins here...except for Sabres fans everywhere! I hate both of those guys!
  3. If Muel and Stillman can't go I'd call up whoever is next in line on D from Rochester to take Bryson's spot. Just a big body who doesn't get knocked down at first contact would be an improvement.
  4. Aside from Stuart Skinner robbing them, Sabres lost this game because neither Muel nor Stillman were able to keep Bryson in the press box.
  5. Also, can DG just staple Bryson's butt to the bench please?
  6. Bryson + VO on the ice at the same time is a disaster
  7. I thought they would never stop talking about that puck that went out of play.
  8. Edmonton has the #1 power play in the league and it's not really close. So after Monday, if the Sabres don't stay out of the box, they may be back to 32nd on the PK.
  9. My alma maters (and @Doohickie’s I believe) nemesis in hockey. But no question RPI is the better engineering school. 😉
  10. Clarkson nearby too, yes? Just went to see them in person without Makar and they had no problem on the backend vs. Calgary.
  11. They picked up Jost from Minnesota but that's not my point. Every team has players that don't work out relative to their draft position. The Sabres decided to cut bait on Asplund and open up a roster spot, but at least they are (recently) savvy enough to grab a guy like Jost for nothing and make him a productive piece of the solution.
  12. First Risto, now Asplund. I'm glad we have Dahlin of course, but Adams needs to look to replenish the Rasmus pipeline via draft or free agency.
  13. Sort of like picking up a former 1st rounder, 10th overall, from waivers. That's Buffalo too.
  14. Asplund may end up being to the Preds what Jost has become to the Sabres. I think he has more game than he's demonstrated this year. Or not, it just wouldn't surprise me.
  15. Or use the draft capital to land veterans during the off-season
  16. This is Bjork's big chance, really. There is going to be two open spots on Bedard's line next year...
  17. I'm gonna go ahead and say I called it: Bjork to Chicago 😉
  18. If Adams doesn't feel motivated to make moves to increase the chances of getting in the 8th spot this year....is there a logic to become mild sellers? Just being provocative here but if pending UFA Bertuzzi gets a 1st and a 4th, is Okposo worth a 2nd? Not that we need a 2nd, but it's more ammunition for trading in the off-season. Is Girgensons worth a D prospect who is farther along than an upcoming draft pick would be? Let's face it, locker room cohesion aside those guys are 4th liners. We could see what we have with some Amerks guys to backfill them to close the season. I am very disappointed that Adams didn't make a move to help this team win now and next year. But after processing what has happened and considering how ridiculously stacked the East is with many buyers at the deadline...it could be a market opportunity to go against the crowd to set-up the next year or two (not for 3+ years from now) so long as the assets acquired can help acquire other assets or be ready sooner than draft picks.
