  1. He had breakaway speed before the last knee injury That's his value add
  2. Bryson get any votes?
  3. I saw Bill Murray and His Blood Brothers on Sunday night at Red Rocks. They were the opener followed by Warren Haynes Band and then Big Head Todd & the Monsters. It was pretty entertaining. Of course he can't sing but he can carry a tune and has that personality. He had an 8 piece band with him and they were quite good. Basically, an awesome cover band. He did Like a Rolling Stone and Love the One You're With to end the 1 hour set and it had everyone on their feet singing. I think this was maybe their 3rd show in two years and they have 4 more (something like that). Murray called it one of the greatest nights of his life to perform at Red Rocks. He was smiling the whole time.
  4. Might need to take away McLeod's belt and shoelaces and keep him away from sharp objects and windows on upper floors.
  5. Rooting for the Oilers so Jeff Skinner and Evander Kane can be added to the illustrious list. Maybe Matt Savoie too?
  6. And Juri Kulich could be as good as Sebastian Aho. I’d still take Aho.
  7. Forbes is the same.
  8. Summer: Big Head Todd w/Warren Haynes Band, Barenaked Ladies, Allison Krauss & Union Station, California Honeydrops, Jerry Garcia Symphonic Tribute, Hozier (birthday present to my daughter), Tedeschi Trucks (2x), Robert Cray, Keb 'Mo. 5 of 'em at Red Rocks.
  9. Is that like A, B, C, D, F....and they are even worse than an F?
  10. I ran it once. Sabres got the first pick right off the bat, so I stopped there.
  11. That sucks about the rain! Always a risk. I am seeing her outdoors too but it's in Colorado in June...chances of rain very low, but chances of snow at 9000 feet in June are non-zero too.
  12. Week before last I went to MSG for consecutive nights of "The Brothers"; i.e. the remaining Allman Brothers Band members with a few all-star types added in. They played one show with almost the same crew in March 2020 the day before Covid shut everything down. The 2020 concert was one of the best I had ever seen and the two this year exceeded them. With two nights they were able to expand the catalog and relax a bit more and have fun. I've seen Derek Trucks 18 times now in various settings and he was the most inventive and energetic I have ever seen. I saw him smile as many times in two nights as the prior 16. Same with Warren Haynes, actually. Duane Trucks (Widespread Panic) was on drums in the Butch Trucks slot in 2020 but this time it was Joe Russo. This made a big difference as well in my opinion as their styles are completely different and Russo seemed to feed off the guitars and keyboards in a really positive way for the overall sound. Check Leavell was excellent as usual. Oteil Burbridge played both nights and then fly to Vegas and played at the Sphere the next three nights. Quite the band. There are quite a few clips on YouTube if interested.
