There really aren't any words at all. I really hope you have a solid support system as it will be the most important of everything moving forward.

It seems as though chicken is on the menu 4 times a week at my house. Anyone have a good store-bought salt they could suggest with some flavor? Right now, I usually do a chicken caesar salad, fettuccine alfredo, breaded chicken and a stirfry. I really need to add a good chicken taco recipe as well. My goal would be to come up with 5 go to meals I could cook during the week as it's painful to think about what I am cooking each night.

Has there been any indication to think that he will not be a Buffalo Sabre? This is my only fear concerning this team right now. What is the timeline if all goes well? Is he in Rochester next year and then hopefully in Buffalo for 2024?

I think the Sabres are letting this year play out as no playoffs again. I would be fine with that if it was not for the previous nightmare of a decade. Unless a miraculous addition of a goalie comes through, I will most likely keep expectations pretty low this year.

UPL will not be the starter, this is a great backup signing. UPL has barely proven he can start in Rochester so no way in hell will he start for the Sabres this year.

Goaltending and rebounds were the difference. The first quarter was great and the place was hopping. The rest of the game was pretty boring and once again, my kids fail to witness a Buffalo championship. I felt bad for the diehards leaving the building as they really wanted it.

2nd round has been awful compared to 1st round

Obviously the desperate need is a number one goal tender. They will also have to upgrade the defense and that should not be an issue with some free agents and the money they can spend. As far as the top six, I am fine leaving that as is for one year. Would it be crazy to overpay some crazy good, tough playoff ready third and fourth liners for a couple years since they have the cap money to do so. It might not be a bad way to invest without mortgaging the future.

Calgary in Edmonton seems to be the only series I am interested in. I thought round one was great though

So are Tampa or Florida going to lose anyone after this season is over? They can’t possibly have this much talent and not lose some key pieces eventually.

I never realized unti tonight how much I actually hate Toronto and never want them to win anything ever.

I think it’s actually the best series going on. Both teams hate each other, Crosby is still incredible to watch and the goaltending stories are amazing. What is there not to like?

Anything but the library atmosphere would be fine with me. There needs to be a change and what that change is I don't know....they need to do something as it will probably be another couple years before they can be a top 3 team in the division. Florida, Tampa and Toronto are not going away any time soon....and Boston will probably rebuild for the 5th time on the fly this summer.

I am 51 years old and would love to see that type of atmosphere. I am not saying it is just for the young folks, everyone my age who sees other teams do this type of pregame ceremony says they would love to see it in Buffalo as well. I think the majority of fans that attend these games would enjoy it thoroughly. Why not have entertainment on AND off the ice?
