The way I see it is there are 4 teams in the top 8 right now that should drop out while 4 teams replace them... Columbus, Detroit, Philly and Montreal to be replaced with Florida, Carolina, Ottawa and hopefully Buffalo

Oh I hate losing alright. For me though, it's because I absolutely LOVE when my kids get excited and want to watch the games with me. I took my son to the Bills game last night and I know those moments will become fewer and fewer as college looms in a couple years. I so desperately want them to see playoffs with me before it's too late. THAT is what brings out the dark side when these guys lose (after so many years of them seeing it.) Once they are in college, there is ZERO chance I am a season ticket holder.

I like what the Sabres are doing here. Fly under the radar, drop to the bottom of the conference again, and then....BOOM! Right when the rest of the NHL thinks we are the same old Sabres after a 2-8 start, we come rising out of the ashes like a phoenix.
