That's good to hear, I understand not overreacting at every call, but I don't see much fire from him on TV or the few games I make it to. I just remember the good ol Ottawa rivalry days where ruff would go bananas on the bench. I wouldn't mind seeing that once in a while

On a side note. Does anyone see Lindy get fired up anymore. I remember years ago seeing Lindy animated on the bench many times. But now it's like he doesn't want any part of that. Is he getting older and tired. How is he in the locker room I wonder.

Apparently it was not only used orally, but they replaced the hot tub water with it, added powdered forms to their food and also made antler enemas. I'm all for a shake up, but every time I see ruff juggle lines, the combinations look terrible. Grigs with Scott and (insert player here) gerbe with hecht, etc... There isn't any rhyme or reason behind the lines it appears. But I do agree, you can't touch that first line at all even though it is tempting.

If I recall from memory, I always thought the sabres player the panthers kinda like the Isles. They weren't that successful against them even when basement dwelling.. Florida record isn't great, but I do believe they are a better Florida team that we've seen in years past. 2nd end of a back to back in a game where we just got embarrassed badly. Is our confidence even more shot today? Today's game may just be more telling than yesterday's flop, it was somewhat expected after a Boston victory, but do we have the stones today to come. Back from the worst game of the season. And please, someone on the 2nd 3rd or 4th line start putting the puck in the net.

What was their original strategy? And I though COHO deserved a penalty shot last night, would have been exciting to see

I'm 1-0 in starting GDT this year. However like our team. I refuse to accept that responsibility :) I mean Cmon, what the hell was that today. Uninspired would be a giant upgrade over the ballerina fest I saw out there. It looks like they recruited at the pond hockey tournament. If they come out like this tomorrow. I can safely say that this season is lost (and no I do not think it's too premature to say that at this point)

I'm happy Montreal scored, they deserved it. The sabres did not deserve to get to the 2nd with a tie game. Time for some 5 hour energies boys

This is more important of a game than many realize. The sabres better realize that as well. We are a better team on paper than the habs. We are tougher. And we should have confidence as well. Is this the lay down team of years past or has a changing of the wind struck buffalo? I think we get a shootout tonight. I also predict that there will be at least two icing calls, 3 missed penalties, 5 offsides and a fan thrown out for drunken debauchery

Let's just realize that I started the GDT, this is a very rare thing for me, so I deserve 30% of the credit for the victory ;) Amazing game to watch, after the 1st, I was thinking to myself, eh kinda boring game.... But then the floodgates opened up. Sit Myers!!!!!!! Put Brennan back in. TV should have some Asian masseuses waiting for him with happy endings on the plane after that performance.

My first GDT of this season. Sabres coming off a heart breaker at home, losing the last 4 and only getting one point in that stretch. Our prized rookie gets his first goal, hoping this continues as a regular trend. Boston is atop the Eastern conference and is playing tough, many are pessimistic about a victory here, but it's make or break time. We apparently built a team to compete with Boston, let's see what our boys can do Go Sabres!!!
