I am off for the evening, I was looking on stubhub just for an eve out, but I'm not paying 30-40 a ticket to these guys, so I may find something else to do, it may or may not involve the Sabres, so very sad, 3 months ago I would have found a way to see them one way or another

What sucks is that even up to a month or so ago, we were looking forward to the 2 pens games as they were the "most important" ones we needed to win, all we had to do was stay afloat a little. We then lost to Florida, NJ, etc etc and here we are, out of touch and fading fast, leave it to Buffalo to find a way and turn it on after the fat lady has sung. I'm not advocating for draft position but does turning it on now and going into the off season hot really matter

I was interested in that guy with the weird name who is consensus #2 winger (sorry I forget name) he's bigger and closing the gap on Hughes. As for trades, I think #1 would bring back a solid #2C and prospect, maybe a Courtier + deal, or something similar. Unfortunatley I don't follow the rest of the league as close, so in drawing a blank on who would trade for the first pick. I just think that we def need to add some size and grit to this team, not every player mind you, but I think we could be a more complete team if we were to trade a nice young talent.
