  1. Is it true we are 6th in 5v5 scoring? That would make me think it’s more on our Powerplay being broken. Regardless I’d rather them play open and try to win like last year. After all they have a slightly better group in 2 way play with Good Greenway and Benson now.
  2. I’m both disappointed and ok with it strangely enough. What he did was idiotic and underhanded as well as attempted destruction of property but didn’t actually hurt anyone. So Carson is a brain dead jackass but that isn’t exactly prison worthy.
  3. As I mentioned on Twitter, perhaps this could be their version of NJ’s fan yelling about Ruff last season and then apologizing after a win streak.
  4. That corner in our zone must of had a lot of snow seeing as at least 3 pucks died there
  5. The Buffalo Enigmas We can’t beat bad teams but we’ll shellshock top teams.
  6. Hodgson, what could been if he hadn’t had a bad back issue. He showed flashes of being a solid 2C. Keep scoring a beating up Leafs
  7. No, no no they shouldn't be available for a myriad of reasons
  8. I'd be insane not to take that deal lol; its more in realistic terms
  9. Pretty much, the general idea for Granato was that offense begets confidence and confidence makes learning defensive structure easier. Step 1 worked well for the most part however for a myriad of reasons the players seem unable or unwilling to adjust to a more well-rounded game. Some players have embraced playing defense more than others; Tage up to his hand injury looked far more active defensively and Mitts was back checking hard. Cozens seems mentally paralyzed due to the combination of trying to get his offense on track and simultaneously learning NHL level defensive positioning. Then there’s some players like Skinner and usually Olofsson whom just don’t play defense or they’ll cheat a lot. They likely look disjointed many nights due to this incomplete buyin. It might explain why we do well against top teams seeing as the team as a whole are more likely to buy in to a system in an underdog game.
  10. Technically that’s 50% It should be a gif of Romans being killed by commanders. 🙂
  11. 1st overall picks don’t get left in college for 2 years because they have an easy out to UFA-hood in that case. Levi should of likely been in Rochester but has certainly shown the ability to play in the NHL
  12. I've always been emotionally attached to players on the team. I've watched Dahlin since he was an 18 year old; last thing I want to see is him get traded and succeed elsewhere.
  13. The fact anyone wants to move Dahlin is borderline insane.
  14. Cozens is good, cold so far this year but good.
  15. Yes, Dahlin, Tage, Cozens and Tuch. Power I’d be more angry because he’d likely be yet another star being traded only to blossom elsewhere.
  16. They are a family, problem is they don’t seem to have any hard talks.
  17. Naw still a jackass, he went after the fans whom suffer far more than any player
  18. Well, I’m just to throw my arms up and surrender. We will never be good, end of story. I don’t care who we acquire, hire, or are owned by; this franchise is cursed to be eternally pain
  19. Sending Power to Rochester might scare him straight I guess?
  20. What has happened to Power and Samuelsson? It’s truly mind boggling how both have forgotten how to play their roles. Dahlin looks annoyed in his interview and for good reason. This team frankly just doesn’t make sense because we see them play great some games but also terrible some games. Some can be attributed to inexperience but you can’t exactly handwave away going from 10 to 1 game to game.
  21. Between interviews and appearances on Beyond Blue & Gold, his reaction to a bottle cap bonking his head and the the like; he's shown to be a very friendly, albeit quirky guy.
  22. But he did have good analytical numbers; great goalie don't just spawn in like a video game. You either have to draft them, find a untapped gem, or pay out the nose to get one. Comrie ended up being fools gold but that doesn't suddenly make the attempt completely without merits.
  23. That’d be nice, I like Comrie as a person, seems like a nice guy; but has only shown us a couple minor flashes of good play before getting hurt
  24. Bryson was always a solid spot starter but a train wreck if he played more than a handful of games in a row. I’m unsure why but that always seemed to be the case with him. He’d be put in to fill a spot, he’d look great using his speed to close distances and cut angles. Then after 5 games to 10 games he’d seemingly stop playing fast and try to play more physically and get easily overwhelmed due his lack of strength. Then he would spiral until being sat again. Sit him a few weeks and suddenly he looks good again for a couple weeks. A most unusual case.
