Incredible game The kids now understand what it means to go to war for a W. Power had rough moments but I can’t exactly crucify a guy for struggling when placed against Kucherov or Point on a near constant basis. They showed something tonight we haven’t seen since prior to the whole Lucic ordeal; a full team effort to protect one another for a full 60min while fighting through the ups and downs or a heavyweight hockey match up. Hell, even UPL grabbed Hagel when he was swinging at Dahlin, thats a group that seriously cares about each other. Doan again was a force, his effort and tenacity is a constant and today he added some offense too. Zucker has seemingly gotten younger as the year has gone on, all the winning and youth around him has returned some of the speed of his earlier years. Dahlin, certainly isn’t a literal fighter but he certainly is scrappy every game.

Hagel shouldnt even be in this game; he should of been ejected

Benson has little confidence in his shot and even less in his backhand (it’s worse with Quinn since we all know he has a high end shot) mediocre sloppy 1st, but no damage so get your ass in gear and start the 2nd with a better effort

So far our shots have been 0,1,0,1,0,2,1 puck is flipping around like a chihuahua on crack

My guess would be Stanley plays the heavier teams, Metsa plays the more finesse teams Schenn fills in for Kesselring 3-5 times so he can make it to the playoffs in one piece lol If Stanley can’t be trusted defensively I doubt Ruff will ignore Metsa’s capabilities. Timmins will have ample time to get back to playing and will likely either change the defensive structure a tad or overtake Schenn in the RD role
