It is simply conflating two different terms, like the other poster said. Winning percentage - no, they are 5-7; they have only WON 41.67% of their games - not above 0.500. "simple math" as another poster stated. Points percentage - yes, they have gotten 13 of 24 possible points; 54.2% of available points thus far. 89 point pace, in a down year for the league, that gets you near the wild card. The NHL website even calls is "P%", not "W%".

I was actually thinking he was pressing a bit early on when nothing was working for the team. He seems to be a bit more relaxed now that he sees everyone is finally chipping in. I seem to recall several "WTF?" moments with him last year, too. High risk, high reward. That said - I feel for the guy ... what they went through, I cannot even begin to fathom. ❤️

I think back to the Otters game. They looked like the team of the first 3 games early on. Sluggish, no energy, sloppy passing. Claude Jeer-roo slashes Power after the play and calls him a "wet dog" (?), big scrum ... different team after that. It was like they suddenly remembered they could crash into players on the other team.

I put this together in US$ (sorry, local currency here): I found the % of league average to be interesting. Note that Curry's number includes some of him owning a stake in some company.

Considering I read the average american (and probably canadians are close?) will earn somewhere around $1.6M for their entire working career ... i think they can ALL "afford" to leave money on the table. It would be even more interesting to see how the top earners from each sport compare to each other. Is it proportional to league average salaries? Proportional to TV contracts? Totally unrelated?
