My very first Sabres game was the 2007 Sabres senators brawl. Drury was hit in the head right in front of me. That game made me into a super fan. Now I can barely watch this team unless it’s Ryan Miller night, Rob Ray night, RJ night or if they’re wearing the goat heads. soft

With our luck they’ll make a late season run to 10th place and management will say “Look, we are close. Let’s just add a 4th line player and a 6th defenseman next year”

My wife, who has watched maybe 10 full games or less of hockey in her life joined me in watching the end of Leafs Oilers After the end of the game she said “Is that how hockey is always played? That’s actually fun to watch. When we watch the Sabres it sucks.”
