  1. There's usually 1 or 2 threads that don't go to the last read post for me but I thought everyone had that luxury ? Today the only 1 not doing it is the G.D.T. so I'll have to note the post # everytime I read to the end. Life could be worse but this suckz Got to get used to the fact that we'll have to listen to that windbag Milbury and that twerp Pierre whatsisname.
  2. It'll be fun following the gametime thread today as it doesn't take me to the first unread post  Oh well in any event GO SABRES !
  3. Not that I'm advocating Patrick as head coach but I remember a game last year where lindy couldn't go for some reason and Patrick stepped in and the team played real well ? Anyone have any more specifics than this my memory fails me. Or maybe I'm out to lunch.
  4. Darcys feeling a little more heat than usual so I wouldn't doubt he'd throw a bone.
  5. Thats funny. Sounds a lot like this board when we're losing. Its good to hear the Bruins fans whine about this when their team has made thuggery and goalie interference an artform. They never were able to see the game from both sides.
  6. Agreed. There are 10-15 dirtier to borderline dirty hits a game than that one was. Just an unfortunate injury resulted from it and people see malice based on the result.
  7. Its funny how people react when this team does what it gets paid to do. Win. Everyone is so used to losing and lacklustre play that really we've come to expect it. Thats why you get comments from both ends of the spectrum on this board. When they do win it should be celebrated. When they lose people will vent. Its hard to celebrate a loss.
  8. Problem is that wasn't a dirty hit to begin with imo so to retaliate at that point makes no sense. Maybe the team felt the same way ? To me its like when players go after someone for throwing a clean hit. Stuff like clean hits used to be celebrated in this league but now everyone wants to defend the other guys honour. Makes no sense.
  9. Its a rope a dope
  10. That was sweet. Funny thing is Van has a few more that were able to go but were on the bench. Bieksa and Kassian being a couple more of them. Toughness throughout the lineup
  11. I just felt my yarbles suck up into my gut a little when you said that
  12. Why not really shock everyone and make this a 3 team trade. I haven't seen one of those in a while.
  13. I can think of a few more centres to hold up as the standard by which we develop Griggy other than Seguin. That being said I think Seguin will have a good career. I was hoping Grigs would develop into a stevie Yzerman but thats probably wishful thinking on my part.
  14. Like I said earlier. Nice win. Its a good feeling going to bed not lamenting a loss. Good feelings till Shittsburgh on Sunday and we'll have to find a way to beat them and my weekend is complete.
  15. I thought I answered the question. Look at Buffaloes record compared to the Bruins. He gets a pass.
  16. Great 3rd period. Nice win. Myers looked good. Stafford gets the monkey off his back. Lets hope Sekera isn't gone too long.
  17. Nice. Add a little grit and its amazing what you can accomplish.
  18. Oscars having his best game of the year.
  19. just the excuse these guys need to collapse
  20. Thornton led with his knee and hit Sekera in the knee or just above the knee.
  21. There's really no other explanation for why they're playing like they are except bad coaching. Either way it comes back to Lindy.
