Saw something on t.v. last nite( food network )that has me intrigued. Guy made waffles but he mixed turkey stuffing with the waffle batter and poured it onto iron then cooked the waffle. He then covered said waffle with mashed taters, cranberry sauce, leftover turkey, and gravy. Topped off with maple syrup. I can taste it now. Can't wait to try this the next time I make a turkey.

I'm also resigned to the rebuild and growth of the kids. Bring in more picks and prospects I say. Go all in. Whats the alternative ? Sucking anyways with high priced vets and bloated contracts. This is our life Charlie Brown. Get used to it.

To my American friends and relatives happy fourth of July. I was just down in Couer D'alene, Idaho for our long weekend and unfortunately had to return to work so missed out on helping to celebrate the 4th but had a great time. Spent Canada day in the U.S.A. with no complaints. :thumbsup:

New skates almost yearly the first few years what with the growing bodies. Hockey schools in the summers. Speed skating classes.Hotels,motels,travel. The list seems endless and all this while knowing all along probably from a early age that we'd never amount to much more than beer leaguers. Face it, special kids are noticeable early and dad must have known we were average yet he still shelled it out. I love him for it but often wonder how much it cost him.

Do the compliance buyouts only follow a CBA year or new CBA ? If thats the case they won't happen every year. Kind of feel for this years free agent class with all these extra stars on the market. Brings down the free agents payday for sure.
