The real question is: will she deny that she was coughing?
-
Dude -- this is decidedly not OK.

I listened to a podcast today ("The Watch" -- part of the Ringer's podcast network, ICYI) in which season 2 was discussed. Evidently, it will pick up the story in the same town with the same characters, plus a few new ones, not long after the conclusion of the events of season 1. And, if you're really jonesing, the titles of the season 2 episodes (9 next year -- 1 more than this year) were released and are floating around on the line. If you're mentally tough, you can order Netflix, watch the 8 episodes and cancel it when you're finished -- it's only $10 per month.

I saw Jason Bourne yesterday. Pretty average IMHO -- it felt like it was mostly copied-and-pasted from the other Bourne movies.
-
So you binged it to the end? My wife and I did the same thing, for our speed anyway. We got through it in 4 nights.

He's still RFA next summer, innit?

Jim Kelly won NINE playoff games. Romo has won 2. Romo has been a fine QB who has disappointed several times in the playoffs. Jimbo was a no-BS first-ballot HOFer. It's not even close.

Evander Kane arrested on misdemeanor charge for June nightclub incident

This is what I was thinking too -- and the boneheadedness lies in him not realizing that CB is a terrible person to align himself with. -
Evander Kane arrested on misdemeanor charge for June nightclub incident

It was indeed a bonehead move by Kane, although not necessarily a sociopathic or misogynistic one IMHO. -
Very nice. Separately: I'm feeling much sympathy for Vikings fans. I was just pondering how I would feel if this were to happen to TT. The season would be flushed immediately, and there would be plenty of long-term doubts about his viability as an NFL QB -- and thus plenty of long-term doubts about another lost 5 years for the team.

I'm guilty on this one too.

It's got my vote for best TV series of 2016.

Game discussion thread GDT : Leafs at Sabres 3-25 7pm

Who is the inside spoon? -
Sorry Swamp. This is a great idea Hank.
-
Yes -- thanks Brawndo. Very glad to see Ennis is 100%. I think he's going to have a good year.
-
Interesting. How's his speed?

Why does this matter? Would you feel the same way if a Japanese actor voiced a white character? Also, it's "recommend."

I agree that these generally reflect the consensus around here, although I might add a few tweaks: Kulikov -- expected to be Risto's partner (and thus top-pairing); this feels like it's above his natural station. Regret in some quarters about giving up on Pysyk. Lehner -- yes, a question mark, but most love the fire and are looking forward to seeing him play a full season without starting off hampered by injury. That's all I've got.

Do you think GMTM is done tinkering with the Sabres roster?
nfreeman replied to GASabresIUFAN's topic in The Aud Club
An excellent, and underrated, action movie IMHO. -
Correct.
-
Okposo. He's a very good player at a position the Sabres needed to improve, and he was the top free agent forward on the market (depending on whether you think Stamkos was on the market). It was a strong move by the Sabres. Runner-up: Kulikov for Pysyk. I was not a fan of Pysyk's, and Kulikov played a huge role for a playoff team -- and played quite a bit on the same pairing as Florida's #1 young franchise defenseman.
-
Kane. While I'm still very much on board with the presumption of innocence, it is undeniable that the likelihood of him having a great career as a Sabre has dropped substantially. Runner-up: not getting Vesey -- although more for what it would've meant in terms of the Sabres being major players in the NHL than for what it would've meant on the ice.

I agree on Ennis and Eichel not being a good match, and I'd be quite interested in seeing that top 6. I'd also like to see the following, though, and I think it may align more with DDB's thinking: Ennis-ROR-Okposo Kaner-Eichel-Reino I'd guess that DDB is still inclined to want to protect Eichel with 2nd-line minutes/opposition.
