    We need defense badly. I'm not just putting Murray on notice but our scouts have to start hitting on late picks. To me that's what's killing this rebuild. With all the picks we had the last few years you have to find some sleepers. Now you move on to some of his trades and 1/2 of the trade looks like garbage. I just think Bogo and Kulikov are just plain brutal. I know Kane and Asplund were the key pieces to those trades but both of the defenseman we got seem like they don't know how to play defense anymore. I think Murray has to be put on notice he created a lot of this mess. And then you watch Toronto blow past us in the rebuild that's unacceptable in my book. Now people want Disco Dan gone and we had a chance to and could of picked up Julian and let him go by.

    Well Buffalo is the new Chicago Cubs. Huge fan base but until they get quality people here running the Sabres and Bills both are just major disappointments.

    I wasn't able to watch but Bogo and Kulikov are brutal. It's like both have no idea how to play the position anymore.

    So if your Murray and we land top 5 what position is in dire need. We could use another winger but I see a big need for a number 1 defenseman. What do you think our need is?

    This team should be better but let's face it this defensive corp isn't good. I like Risto and McCabe but everyone else is expendable. Kulikov has been brutal and Bogo has no foot speed.

    No thanks to Hitchcock. The coaching carousel continues in the NHL. It's funny how the same coach keeps getting jobs after being let go over and over and over. Kinda like all the major sports.

    I agree Bogo needs to go. He's a big guy with no foot speed and in today's NHL he's not going to survive. Nothing wrong with the president. Problem was all these years you had laws in place on illegals and refugees but not being properly enforced. And these cities that want to harbor criminal illegals and people are okay with it. How stupid can you be.

    believe me its not that helmet. Tonight is not his fault. I know goalies take some time to develop and that's all we can hope for. He's needs some solid goaltending coaching

    Risto and McCabe are the two best defenseman on this team. Kulikov has been a disaster and don't get me started on Bogo.

    As a forward I just love receiving passes off the boards instead of tape to tape. That's the Buffalo defense.

    I'm not so sure Kane will still be on this team come trade deadline. Out west is my prediction for young defense.

    We can look at his trades and his free agent signing. Besides O'Reilly and Okposo nothing has really panned out.

    This defensive corp is slow and they suck. Your not making the playoffs with this team. I think Murray needs to be put on notice since he assembled this mess. The Eichel and Reinhart selections any of us fans could have made. A lot of trades he made haven't panned out at all.

    Well another year of no playoffs. It's unacceptable. Terry should have a ton of scouts and they should be searching up and down for hidden gems. I don't get it. Both teams and piss poor results.

    Bogo needs to work on quickness and speed drills. This is what the NHL is become. The days of big guys with mediocre speed will be a thing of the past.

    To me it all starts on defense. If You have a good corp that can move the puck quickly tape to tape it makes the forwards job much easier

    Murray needs to retool the backend and goaltending. Cut the dead weight up front and then you will have a playoff team.

    Well bottom five finish here we come. This team ain't going anywhere with a defensive corp like this. They suck
