  1. This is the rule. Other than #8. Agreed on the shoes, but the neck sweat and pits after 12+ hours is just too much for me. But I understand that work commitments and work related game attendance sometimes require it. Personally, classic jerseys of players long gone are cool, whether they were franchise greats or not. I love seeing classic jerseys of obscure players.
  2. It's a pair of tickets or a nice dinner out. What did you expect for a personalized jersey? Usually some used ones on eBay too, if you don't mind wearing someone else's clothes. Eww.

  4. Nothing worse than hour 12+ in the same suit. Bring a change of clothes to the office.
  5. Suits at games are almost as bad as putting your own name on the back of a jersey. Get the jersey and any local sports equipment place that does uniforms can put a name plate and any number you want on it.
  6. Why not a Housley? Seems I always saw a couple Ruff jerseys every time I was at the rink.
  7. Present names on old school jerseys is a no no. You can sometimes still find old school blanks and have them personalized for your favorite player, but not through NHL.com. Some weird licensing issue. Never had an issue with local sports uniform places doing it. Had a classic Rob Ray jersey done up for one of my kids when he was little. Got it signed eventually.
  8. I am anti-blank. If you are going to get a jersey, get your favorite player and wear it proud. Jerseys purchased over the years are like time capsules. You can wear. I love seeing the old school names on the backs of geezers.
  9. They will never take it off ROR if they give it to him, which is why they won't.
  10. It's too hard to get throw back a six pack. But I'd probably do it anyway. Was in Vermont last year when it came out. The line to get some looked like a new iPhone release day full of lumberjack wannabes. Is still just a seasonal release?looked it up. Not seasonal, just extremely limited release, and only within 25 miles of the brewery.
  11. Resin. Good stuff! Heady topper does indeed live up to the hype.
  12. So we should trade reinhart now because he might be good some day? Brilliant.
  13. There is about a 90% chance Jack get's the C. This is his team, everyone knows it, and he is making no attempt to hide it. The only other player with half a chance is ROR. Okposo? not a chance in hell. He's a nice piece, but nice pieces don't get the C, the heart and soul of your team does, if you have such a player. Its Jack with the C, ROR and Risto with the A's. Buckle up your chinstraps. The kids are leading this train now.
  14. One player can only do so much individually. Jack can make players around him better, but it's up to management to give him someone to play with that will allow him to be (more) dominant. From a teammate perspective, jack is miles ahead of Kovalev already.
  15. Billls backers in Carolina need to find out which bar Sarkisian hangs out at and buy him shots Saturday night.
  16. Theory? You are giving too much credit. All I see is a poopy wall.
  17. Wasn't sure whether to put this here or in the Bills thread... http://www.vancouverinquirer.com/2017/08/10/tainted-buffet-at-abbotsford-strip-club-blamed-after-severe-diarrhea-incident-on-stage/
  18. Lol! What? Kane has work ethic issues? GTFOOH. You need to put down the pipe.
  19. If it was reported in media there would be links and threads all over this board.

  21. Players in the NHL aren't "free spirits who play here and everywhere" no one other than Ovi has the "freedom to roam" where they want. Nor does a left wing play the left side of the ice, a right wing play the right side of the ice and a center the center. Forward don't play a position at even strength after the faceoff, they are generally F1, F2 or F3 depending on who gets there first. In a more settled situation they will revert to a traditional positional role, but it doesn't stay that way.
  22. That's not the way it works at all. thank you.
