I don't think you have been a member long enough. Try back in 10 years or so.
If you must know...go to "my controls" near the top of the page on the right and edit your member title. If you don't have access to it, go back to the first sentence in this post.
Thanks--now I've been able to change mine--I think. This is the test run.

where is labatt blue -- i thought he had some pull around here? isnt he a MOD or whatever? he is usually festering around here like a fly on #%^$#!. can he get me a new title? this is crap. 4th line...horseshit...
You know, the Sabres have a habit of trading people from Lethbridge for Smehliks. Don't push it.

My complaint today is me, man I suck after sabres losses <_<. I started thinking and almost bought into all the things I could complain about before I thought about all of people who have lost allot already in this recession and economy and realized I have a great job and family and really have nothing to complain about.
Another non-complaint: I needed a good smile tonight, and four or five posts in, I read this, and had one. Thanks, RD.

How hard is it to read a sign and follow it? Seriously. The mall entrances around here have signs that say "Incoming traffic - Keep Moving" for incoming traffic, while the other two sides of the intersections have stop signs and a sign that says "Incoming Traffic Does Not Stop." So why do people stop at the stop sign and then start going, all the while staring at me like "why didn't you stop?"
Morons. :censored:
How about just malls in general? They suck.

Ice is annoying.
Yeah, but try building a decent cocktail without it.
Which brings me to my complaint: Lack of cocktails at my office.
-
3. Ice. This was my front yard and driveway.
Looks like something from the Lord of the Rings movies. Ouch.

who ate all the cookies , that's what I want to know...... :o
I don't like you stinkin' up the place with your rotten leaves,* but it's good to know you're still around.
*Glad we buried the hatchet a while back.

My favorite hockey team has a case of the suck.

Today's complaint: Still weeks away from "The Office" season 4 being released on DVD. That show had better stay together.
All of the Season 4 episodes are available free online--legally, too--at hulu.com...maybe that will tie you over.

1. Did I really see FOUR Sabres digging the puck out of their own corner on a Buffalo power play in the third? Disgusting.
2. When was the last time a Sabre really punished an opposing player for playing the puck near the boards? Before Thanksgiving?
-
Just my opinion...
This isn't your typical losing skid in a long season. Maybe it took the rest of the NHL 1.5 seasons to figure us out, but I think they now have. And the old school refs are letting them get away with it.
Oh, I hate to think you're right. But I do.

Lindy, you need to bring the hammer down on these guys. Better yet, make every one of them watch Miracle in a team setting. Then drive your message home!
If they keep this up, there's no way they'll finish first in the East.
Ok. On "bringing the hammer down," we're in agreement. But how? Tough.
I don't care if they finish first in the East, in the division, in the league, or whatever. But if they keep this up, the Sabres will not win a playoff series. Their form of late has not been good.
So bring the hammer, but again, whom do you bench to send the message? Or maybe we just hope for Tallinder's return--'cause I think (and I could be wrong) the Sabs are undefeated with him.
we just let the 13th ranked opponent in the west come from behind against us in the 3rd. makes me puke.
worst part is, i don't even know where to start, or how it gets better.
peters might not win fights, and ultimately proves not a lick out there, but at least he brings some energy. add goose to that, otherwise, there just seems to be guys along for the ride.
i don't remember pominville's name tonight. i saw roy get knocked down a few times and spend more time looking for the call, than getting back in the play.
i don't know....
I gotta agree with most of that. Roy, I thought was a gritty player tonight, but the rest was right on.

I would like to thank the Sabres for their terrific job of acting out the '03-'04 season, and I politely request that they never again do this.

Nice. Am I dreaming, or didn't the league try having each team do their own skills competition, and the top 3 or 5 in each event were supposed to go to the All-Star game for the league-wide competition? I thought maybe early 90s they tried that...
They may have done that then. They have teams called "Columbus," "Phoenix," and even "Philadelphia," now, and maybe it's not worth it, you know?
-
Hey! So the EC wins the skills comp! I'm going to RIOT tonight. Oh, yeah, EAST!!!
-
I think they have figured out not to deke Miller ...
Didn't look like that on the last two.
-
Thomas deserved that win. Problem is, from what I saw, so did Miller.
-
Wow, what a third period and OT. I'm going to the game on Wednesday, and for once, I really want to see Peters in the lineup. I think Chara has some medicine coming.
-
A couple more thoughts...
- The Sabres ALWAYS suck with the 2 man advantage. It doesn't help when your best faceoff man gets schooled by the opponent twice in a row.
- We continue to be very weak along the boards. I don't see a lot of one on one battles for the puck being won even in games that the Sabres are coming out on top.
It doesn't matter how many big saves you make if you can't make the average save when the game is on the line in the 3rd period.
PS Marty was very good, but it's not like he faced 50 shots in the game. Describing his performance as incredible is a bit of a reach.
If he wasn't making big saves in the first 2.5 periods, the game wouldn't have been "on the line." It would have been 7-2.
-
- Classic Marty in the 3rd period. Big saves, followed by weak ass goals. 10 years in the league and the guy still doesn't know how to play angles(3rd goal).
Blue, the Sabres would have been well done by then if not for Marty. Come on. The guy was freaking incredible for 50 mins., and I've seen Hasek let in weaker ones than that.
-
Didn't you know, that's how he gets the girls back to the hotel
DD, that out-tastelessed my post!
-
Oh come on. He got his leg tangled up and twisted his knee, nothing malicious about it at all. I bet his misses two games
Exactly. It's not like Heatley killed anyone...

C'mon, Taro, M*A*S*H is generationally immune. It's just part of the collective US American experience. Plus, mostly because of the way Blake delivered that line, it's one of my top ten from that show. I was laughing as soon as I read it, and I'm about the same age as that episode.
