I wonder if Biron should be traded too but I think he is too valuable to be sitting. What I really love is that I just saw Miller come out to the goal crease just after the game ended to congratulate Biron. What team chemistry. Just unbelieveable. I am almost afraid to trade anyone at this point and alter the chemistry.
Biron always does the same when Miller wins, too. I'm convinced: no big trades.

Hecht or Biron first star?
Hecht got it--Biron didn't get a star at all! That's criminal. The guy was in three places at once in some situations tonight.
EDIT: Here's the scoresheet.

Tallinder just took the smartest penalty I've seen in the NHL this year.
emphasis of a penalty? holy crap, they've opened the "intentional vs. unintentional" pandora's box.. say goodbye to our cup chances vs [insert large market team here]
If you mean Gill's clear that went into the stands, I think the refs ruled it went off of a Buffalo stick (that's why the faceoff came out of the zone).

maybe trading biron is a bad idea... he's a pretty good insurance policy at the moment. trade noronen for draft picks and ride the talent we have now. kalinin will be back soon to ease the defensive pressure and relieve fitzpatrick of his duties...
Amen brother. It's nearly unbelieveable that the Sabres are still on top in this one.

18-4 SOG (Boston has more) with 8 mins. left in the third. 44-24 in the game so far. Ugly.
-
Biron is working way too hard again--probably looks good to the scouts I mentioned earlier, but how long can he keep this up?
-
Hecht is having himself a time tonight.
-
If it makes you NESN watchers feel any better, MSG isn't doing so well tonight, either. Rick's already complained once about a lack of replay.
-
Biron is being hung out to dry so far. Better hope there aren't too many scouts watching.

Anyone know why the contract is only for 75 games?
I'm happy with 75. It's a lot better than the old days of waiting for Channel 2 to carry a game.

Biatch-yslav Kozlov put Atlanta up 1-0

I think the picture of Gretz going by with the puck in the net past Edwards is as recognizable of an nhl photo as Orr flying through the air after winning the Cup in '70.
That picture is on 99's official site, here

I'll echo that, Seannie. The PP is horrible.
-
Wow, that didn't last long.
-
And another penalty.
-
That 5-on-3 was horrible.

Decided to finally register =)
You can get full video highlights at http://www.nhl.com/scores/index.html. The "individual goal" section doesn't show the shootout, but the full reel does.
Welcome aboard & thanks for the link.

Miller's not old enough to be President.
That's ok, 'cause ToddKaz isn't old enough to vote.

 LabattBlue never drinks Miller. Now what was I saying about Biron...
Let's finish off this road trip with a good effort against Atlanta and then come on home boys.
In a completed unrelated sidenote, my 3 most hated Leafs...
It's a dead heat...Sundin, Tucker & Domi.
You're my boy, Blue. Let's go Sabs!

Everybody has their favorites...right. ;) In case you can't tell mine happens to be Miller. B-)
See, kids, it is possible to resolve your conflicts peacefully. In this case, I tried to level a hipcheck that would wreck LabattBlue's ACL for weeks. But he, being the guy that he is, avoided the hit. I think it would have been a clean hit, and the rest of the Rangers agree. But some Sabres disagree.
As grownups, we realize it's ok if LabattBlue likes Miller, and if Eleven likes Budweiser. We both hope you learned something from this.

7 Sabres with 2 points each tonight. Balanced scoring at its best.
That IS cool. (Just so you know there's still love, LB!)

Biron had his shot over the last three seasons and proved that he is nothing more than a middle of the pack #1 goalie. He can play great in spurts(earlier this year), just as easily as he can be Mr. Mediocre. He is a bonehead handling the puck, is horrible at times in terms of being in the correct position/angle and is down on his knees way too early and way too often.
If that is interpreted as giving him no respect, then so be it. I call it, like I see it.
Cool that it's just the last 3 seasons, right? We'll forget about the 5 shutouts in 40 games. Oh, but that was more than 3 seasons ago. He IS down too early and too often, you're right there; I disagree on you assessment of his puckhandling, but I'll recognize that he gives up rebounds that are way too tasty to opposing forwards.
He is not the goalie that most people thought/think/will think. My point, which I note was not directed towards you, is that many would be irritated that Biron let in 4, but if Miller lets in the same 4, there's no problem.
-
What's your point? You'd rather have Biron than Miller? I've got news for you...without Miller tonight the score might have been 8-4 with toronto winning.
Do you want to ask what my point is, or would you rather misguess it? Point is, Miller let in the odd goal or two that would have been called "soft" had Biron been the goalie. Point two is, if Biron lets in four, we win in spite; if Miller lets in four, well, our offense was better. I daresay your post exemplifies my point--no one here respects Biron at all.
Miller v Biron? Miller, every time. But I saw so much dogging on Biron during the preseason, little cheering during his win streak, and so much forgetting afterwards, that I wonder whether we remember that he meant something to this team as recently as last month.

The Snowman! Always great when he appears. Well, unless it's an Ottawa snowman. But for tonight, yeah, we love the 8.

Oh, you may well be right--I meant that I'm convinced that I don't WANT to trade, not that it won't happen. I STILL don't own the team yet. Grrr.
