The half hitch is a simple hitch knot, where the working end of a line is brought over and under the standing part. Insecure on its own, it is a valuable component of a wide variety of useful and reliable hitches, bends, and knots.

And to clarify I didn’t mean sit him because he’s not playing well enough I meant giving him a game if they feel mentally he just needs a break with everything going on in his personal life.
He'll ask for that if he needs it. Some people need it, some would prefer to just get back into things.

This is a bad take.
He's fine.

Anyone else notice that nearly all our goals with someone battling in front of the Leafs net?
Nearly all Sabres goals this season in general, especially in the four home wins.
There's a reason for this.

One of the all time great voices.
You're not wrong, but this is a hockey game. Keening doesn't work here.
Anyway, I'm really enjoying this old-style, radio with a book.

The Cranberries? Really? I love them, but this is a hockey game and not a coffee house.

Well, glad I didn't look for the sportsbook at that monstrous casino (probably ain't that big, but seems huge to this kid) if you've got your own bookie right at the end of the Thankgiving dinner table.
FORMER bookie.
I have to tell you the story sometime.

Last day of vacation. Stayed in 2 different hotels just down the street from each other. A Ceasars is across the road from both. Pretty friggin' huge casino. Never bothered to go. Too bad wasn't aware of how desperate you were to place a bet. Might've been able to find a guy. 😉
My life experience of betting on hockey is $5 and that's because I wanted the ticket as a bookmark. My entire life experience of betting on sports in general, not counting a super bowl pool or fantasy football, is $10. (The other $5 was on the 1986 Mets and my friend never paid up.)
I don't mind a good poker game, and a craps table at the right place can be a lot of fun.
I don't understand sports gambling, but I don't condemn it, either. And I'm the son of a former bookie, too.

I can't see betting on hockey, but I don't mind if you put stuff in the GDTs.

If we're listing up to five streaming options, which is a good idea, can we also list gambling options? I never know where I can blow money betting on a hockey game. I know it's legal now, but it seems so secretive--whoever is taking the bets isn't doing a good job of publicizing it. I wish they'd run ads before/during/after games, or have entire segments dedicated to gambling on sports radio, but they just refuse!
So can we have something like "GDT: Leaves at Sabres, 10/24/25, 7pm, MSG, Wankr, Hulu, ESPN+, FukStik, DraftDuel, FanKings, MGM, ESPNBets, guy on corner of Grant & Ferry?
Just an idea.

China and Russia. Seems like the NSA should be checking in on him, not the Sabres.

Carrying three goaltenders because the GM can't figure out how conditioning assignments work is not a "good problem to have."

Crazy. Why not leave him down there for the next week and give Ellis another game?
Because Adams is an idiot who can't even figure out how to take advantage of a conditioning assignment for a single weekend.

So that's what they call it these days? "Having lunch"? 😏
Was there stuffed tuna being served?
Take it easy there, filly.

Byrne's sis-in-law told me at lunch that Fraser was traded, not a free agent departure.
But seriously, that is what Byrne's sis-in-law told me.

A top prospect is never a "throw in."
That said, it's a little early to judge his impact.

So I went up to Buffalo this past weekend to visit my mom. I got a good old fashioned Buffalo fish fry at Jades Restaurant, an old school tavern, on Broadway in Depew. Man it was delicious. I'm the guy a little closer to the camera on the left and then there's my mom, 89, and her partner, 94 (and still drives very well).
And who's the guy on the right?

Can someone resurrect the thread about moderators being team employees? There was some serious potential there.

And @PASabreFan you can post eyerolls all you want, but you know I'm right. That's why you only post eyerolls. The Panthers get away with stuff like the Bruins used to.
