We started a thing. It was fun! I hope I didnât offend you. I was just overreacting to the Eichel interest. Iâm focused on whatâs next, not the tank fruit that soured.Â
Itâs fine.

Some playoff team is going to pay for the privilege of acquiring Eakin
Yeah, maybe to Florida, and in return they remove their Top 10 protection on the 2022 first round pick. Â đ

I don't care. This season is about next season. Next season I want to see them bucking for a playoff spot, ahead of (at the very least) the Red Wings, Sens and Habs (the other rebuilding teams in the division) and preferably ahead of Boston or TO.
Next season I want to see the young talent putting JAGs on unemployment and for good reasons. I want to see goaltending. Whether it's acquired or home grown, I want to see two quality goalkeepers on the roster at all times.
And next season I want to see how Shane Wright looks in the Blue and Gold. đ
The details of how we get there don't concern me. I'm not a hockey professional. I just want to see it happen.
Itâs Bill Murray and Groundhog Day all over again.  Next year, next yearâŠ.

Just watched a Countdown on the NHL Network of the top lines of all time and the French Connection was #2 behind Geordie Howe, Ted Lindsey, Abel.
Now, even though I was happy to see the French Connection line rated so high, how do they have Gretzky-Kurri -Tekanen as #7? Â Gretzky is the greatest of all time. Â Gretzky-Kurri and a three-toed sloth should be ranked #1.

That assumes a good goalie free agent prospect can be lured to Buffalo simply by the money. A good goalie free agent prospect stands to receive offers from several teams and the money may not be the determining factor in his decision to sign or not.Â
Thatâs why we ended up with a 40 year old Anderson.

Does the defense not like Houser? Â 34 shots on goal thru 2 periods by Ottawa?

So, for this new Draft Lottery rule about consecutive lottery wins, is it going forward starting with this year or will they consider the Sabres winning the last lottery?

I started off 2-0, lost 7 in a row, then won last 6 regular season games, and the 2 playoff games. Â Â
ÂDefinitely a roller coaster ride to the championship. đ
Congrats! Â I started out 5-1, then 6-2, then team faded.

I like the 2nd team listed, the âTeam Kowalskiâsâ.

I recorded and watched todayâs Good Morning Football. Â With comments by the team and all their guests, it was an enjoyable 3 hours of coverage of Madden.

Why would a minority owner invest $250 M and not have any significant say in how the organization is run because the majority owner has all the authority? How many people would be interested in investing in a business with the expectation that they would help/required to pay for costly needed costly facility upgrades as impotent minority owner when it comes to making decisions for the franchise? Unless there is a future option to buy it would make little sense for a new investor.
Â
Because of the possible return on investment of a professional sports franchise. Â Now, I know that NFL & NBA franchise values increase tremendously. (Owners of Golden State Warriors thought to overpay for franchise in 2010 for $450M. Franchise now valued at $4.7B). Â I donât know much about NHL franchises though, especially since they have not had the tremendous broadcasting contracts that the NFL & NBA have. Â This current contract is substantial however. -

Opponents hit our players with anger while we play softly like kids. Just look at our players when the Ducks make the first goal. Milano and Zergas did all what they want. We must defend gates, goalie, players! It's hockey!
In the time it took Zergas to position the puck properly on his stick, why didnât anybody check him? Â Were they just watching?

So he turns 28 in a few weeks, has not played a-tall this year (anyone know why?), started 14 games last year, and 19-20 games per year the 4 seasons before that. He's making $850K this year, after which he's a UFA.
Looks like another member of the JAG Corps. But I'm glad KA at least took a shot at improving a dreadful goalie situation that he is 100% responsible for creating.
Seems like a risky move. Â This could cause dissention in the locker room with all those players making only $750K.

Pretty embarrassing to get swept by the expansion team. Â IIRC the first time the Bills played the Seahawks they got embarrassed.
