    Does anyone know when the Sabres will introduce a 3rd again? Is there anything out there regarding possible new looks? My vote would be original Royal Blue colorway always but I'm still interested in seeing something new either way.

    I think similarly about Bylsma and his plan for this team. There are no expectations of playoffs although I was and still am one of those who thaught/think they would/will make a run at the tournament. This season is about acclimation and development of the young players here in Buffalo and throughout the system. The Amerks are playing the same uptempo quick skating style that the Sabres try to play every night with varying results. I really believe DD wants an attacking team with all 5 guys engaged and active at both ends of the ice but he's limited by lack of experience among the younger players and lack of speed and skill among some vets. With Gionta he has to handle him with a certain level of respect. Gionta , amongst others of course, is the one behind the scenes teaching the kids how to be pros on and off the ice. By all accounts he is excellent at this job. I think DD "rewards" Gionta for this kind of team first attitude with some ice time here and there. Also, he's the captain and a respected vet by the players so u can't just blatantly disrespect him.

    Reporters gonna report, opinions gonna opin, I just don't think it allows the legal process to play out in a fair and just way for both parties. The investigation and any facts there in should be private matters until which time that those matters need be public. It should be the law.

    I guess what I mean is it should be illegal to divulge information about an ongoing case in which charges have not been filed. That's the only fair and just way to keep opinions out of the investigation. After it's been announced that charges were or were not filed, opinion away.

    I'm not blaming the public, i'm blaming the system that allows the information to be released to the public before an investigation can be properly conducted. Both parties deserve an unimpeded investigation

    For all involved I hope this is all a big misunderstanding and no further info about either party is leaked during the remainder of the investigation. Its not fair to form opinions either way nor should it be allowed to "leak" info about either party involved. By the time the investigation is complete the "court" of public opinion will have solved this case umpteen thousand ways.

    I'm a little delayed but WTF???? McQuaid in had 3 crosschecks in one shift on the Sabres PP in early 3rd. Grrr
