The slow German defence can be fixed……….Durm at LB who is very fast………Take out Mertesacker and put Hummels and Boatang in the Middle and slot Lahm back at RB………I would be very happy to see that line up on defence

Lets face it the PK is not the ideal way to decide things, but soccer cannot be played forever…..It would get dangerous for players, 3 subs etc….If you start to mess with the 3 subs rule then teams like Germany,Italy, Brazil, Spain etc would have a big advantage with the type of bench that they have…...

Belgium are a talented squad, but they have been playing some terrible football right now, I was expecting much more from them, I have watched all 3 of their games……..The US does have a chance in this game…..I Johnson can lock down Hazard, then it will be a tight match.

Studs up on a sliding tackle yes, but not even sure what you would call that incident. No where near enough force to come close to breaking his leg.

I know that J.R.R has gotten a lot of credit for pulling the rug out from under his readers and turning the tables……But weaker boring characters live on while wicked smart interesting characters like Oberyn don't even make it through one book, his boring ass brother with the super fat gout kankles lives on however……..Books 4 and 5 are pretty good, but they take a dip in the level of interest that the new characters bring to the table………I wonder if he ever thought he would get that far with the series. Not to cute, totally focused on revenge and his anger got the best of him

All of them back with the team practising…….Neuer was running and keeping in shape……Arm unwrapped…….Still has over 2 weeks before their first game……Just watched a video of them back at work.

Germany is loaded at keeper, and Neuer is ready to go, Lahm is good to go and Schweiny is in training……..Gomez is a loss but this could lead to interesting talent replacing in a different manner…….Going with Goetze or Ozil as a false 9 with Klose coming in as a super sub……..Kevin Volland has also been lining up at striker and he is a young player coming off a great season……..Podolski might also fill the roll of ST/false 9 and Reus playing LW
