  1. Going to overtime. Syracuse is playing a smothering game against the Amerks. Absolutely no room to operate. They have to spread out to get a chance.
  2. Penalty shot for Rosen 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 What a huge call And despite that it's tied.
  3. Say we waited for Rod and the Canes go very deep into the playoffs. Meanwhile Ruff and several other prime candidates get scooped up. Then at the last second Brind'amour resigns with Carolina. How do you envision we blame Adams for botching the coaching search?
  4. Fabulous line up. 👍 I saw Orville Peck in a tiny club when he was a total unknown. He's great.
  5. Live feed of the IIHF Worlds: Lithuania vs China
  6. I would agree Adams is on the hot seat but you have to also take into account the players he's drafted. He gets a lot of good ones, including players like Peterka who he traded up to get. You can debate who is really responsible but it's Adams who takes the fall if they aren't good, right? Meanwhile this came in my email today...
  7. As NLL revenues rise, player salaries also rise. In fact a good number of players make enough to commit to it full time. Many augment their income with youth camps. As a whole the NLL is not that profitable but it's trending upward. Franchise values have certainly risen.
  8. Excellent. I saw the last King Crimson tour with Fripp, the big 8 piece group with three drummers. I'm not sure what to expect with this BEAT edition of KC but I'm a fan of both Belew and Levin.
  9. I will see Stiff Little Fingers in Boston tomorrow. Martin Barre of Jethro Tull next weekend, Jon Anderson of Yes in June, The Hives in September, and I'm seeing BEAT King Crimson with Adrian Belew, Tony Levin, Steve Vai and Danny Carey in October.
  10. $22 x 41 games is $902. Then add in 2-3 $15 preseason games. Up till now $1076 was their lowest ST price, or around $26/game. That's about a 15% reduction.
  11. I don't doubt the pool was small. I wouldn't be surprised the pool was one: Lindy. Just saying Adams never said he interviewed double digits in 5 days.
  12. The Amerks played a tremendous game against a fellow 86-point franchise. Syracuse is not a crap team. They bottled up Rochester at times because they're good enough to do that. And how about the games Wahlberg and Ostland had? Both players joining the Amerks late and already contributing. You could credit Wahlberg's arrival as a factor in Rochester going on a tear since March. Game 2 is Sunday at 3pm.
