Again, I'm basing this on the reporting of Matthew Fairburn of the Athletic. He believes a handoff is in the works at some point. He bases that opinion on the cooperative relationship between Kev and Jarmo, not antagonistic as you would expect from someone who was brought in to replace you.

I thought everyone knew Jarmo Kekalainen was advising the Sabres? There are multiple reports that Jarmo and Kevyn have been scouting games, and other scouts and the occasional GM come to Sabres games. Could be nothing, could be something.

Matthew Fairburn of the Athletic says Adams and Kekalainen work in tandem. It's not like he's "lurking over his shoulder." If anything a succession plan is in the works.

I go to games all the time and I never feel like the building is a dump. It's a hockey arena. It does the job. I've been to other arenas, some nicer than others. TD Garden in Boston is nice but that's mostly due to the upgrades outside the arena. Tampa is great with their outdoor patios. The Panthers barn is meh and in a terrible location.

And if we lose one or two it doesn't mean the season is over. Just don't fall into a losing streak. Since the COVID shortened season 91 (.555) points was enough to get in twice, 92 (.561) once and 100 (.610) once. With 60 games remaining, Buffalo needs 69 points to reach 91. They need to maintain a .575 pace to achieve that.

I would not be surprised if "Kev-Mo" are getting numerous offers on players. Are any more than just spitballs? I know we are in a big hurry to move certain players but there is no reason to take a sub-par offer just because.

At least Spartak is one of the richer teams in the KHL. Moscow based. A player experience closer to the NHL.

Thank you for a list of random guys who missed games. But how many teams lost 4, 5 , 6 players top end players at the same time? Give me an example of a team like that that made the playoffs.

It's real simple ESPN+, and I assume it's the same for every other flavor of streaming ESPN, shows every game except TNT and NHL Network games. But if you live in an NHL market, you are blacked out any time the Sabres play that team. One suggestion: don't change your subscription to the new version of ESPN streaming. You are grandfathered at the rate you subscribed at. I bought what was the triple package of ESPN+, Hulu and Disney, and still pay around $13/mo. All the new packages are way more.
