I am blessed left on Wednesday before storm into Seattle... drove to Bend Oregon with my family to be with my brother and his... storm had already moved through bit of rain messed up skiing yesterday... small problems... just enjoying everyones company for Christmas... be safe back east all Sabrespacers... looks awful... Oh Im hoping they make him a coach... start him out as an assistant goalie coach... he seems to get that side of the business

My only point is he seems to playing differently technically... yes he has had some recent success but last time we saw him he could stop the first shot but his rebound control was horrendous... and again when he did the splits he leaned forward and shooters went high on him... Now much better rebound control... still needs to improve but he wasnt giving up the top part of the net after losing a rebound... also his side to side was much more in control... night a day difference from previous stints.

Last night and the game before he has been so much better... hopefully that continues...

He is playing bigger not leaning forward when he does the splits keeping upright and not losing the top of the net... some of these big goalies have a bad habit of diminishing their size when they spread out UPL included... last night he kept more upright while still taking away the lower part of the net... made it really tough on Vegas.

Call me skeptical... goalies are so weird... light switch all the sudden goes on... not sure if it is coaching, Anderson's influence but he looks better moving laterally... not over adjusting, better rebound control... but appears something changed in his game..

So glad to seek UPL play well both for him and the Sabres... Sabres desperately need a goalie to come thru, if UPL and the kid from NE can tandem... make Anderson a coach and Emergency goalie... the shore up lower end D Sabres could really start rolling... get Mitts away from Ollie... Mitts has been decent but needs a guy with him with Moxie... If UPL can be consistent trade Ollie and rights to Portillo for a D... have Asplund play with Mitts and whoever til draft picks come up next year... then trade Mitts.

Stackin wins... but Sabres were in Alamo mode in the later part of the 2nd and third... the only part I watched... Saw Pilut's goal and then the barrage... lack of puck possession, physicality in the corners.... Quinn and Peterka sat the whole 3rd...

Im playing beer league, maybe catch the tail end up at the bar.

Got phone and TV on but have tonleave for work in an hour bleh... even if it is OT... hope its reasonable tonight so I can watch

depends on where you play mostly plywood with a plastic coat... hard plastic would hurt worse less give.

It bounced out of his glove but not sure he saw it. and being short a D in Power hurt

Rebound control is key for UPL... other than the Erod goal I thought he did really well better than he has.

Best or most valuable... hard not to choose Tage offensively... Dahls on D but imo Mule is most valuable on back end... hard to choose.

I think Fitz is playing well and getting better with stick and he plays tough... still like him as a 6-7 D... Pilut and Bryson meh ok 7-8 D... both skate well but have glaring deficiencies.

At least they are coming out of their November swoon earlier... hope springs eternal.... light is still on even if it's flickering a bit.

Demko (goalie) first priority not sure though on Demko but darn chych has looked pretty good since his return...even if price is high

Tied for 2nd... 3 goals behind McJesus...

Colorado is hurting... good time to jump on them Thursday.
