PS woke last nite in sweats continued thru the early morning... temp though was low 97.1... risen to 99.0 but had to walk up some stairs will check in a little once I settle in in new hotel... Holiday Inn kicked me out after I accidently told manager was going to get tested to be safe. I had been there a week. Whatever... found a nicer one with a cheaper medical discount and as preferred customer at a Hilton!

Skeptical heard from my wife that sterilization compromises the masks... see 3M... they wont guarantee their masks after sterilized... Also the chems used cause cancer upon inhaling (peroxide)... We are researching.., ie my wife...

Was hearing about first tests in England started today on antibodies derived from previously infected pt. FDA is also sponsoring... forget Company name.

If I recover from this Id have to say yes. My immunity blood levels were good in February.

Oh contaire, I hope its positive would explain everything ive gone thru and am coming out the other side. Itll allow me to treat pts without fear.

So had a virtual appt with my Doc who said the probable reason for my negative test was that it was too early... full onset of symptoms didnt hit til 5 days later last Wednesday when my fever hit 102.9 The initial low grade fever was just a warning... feeling a bit better but still have a low fever 100.1. Doc said based on bell curve I should start feeling better in 3-5 days. Work now wants to test me again tomorrow morning. Hopefully im on the upswing

Still fighting temp spike early afternoon... not as bad each day only 100.1 since yesterday's last tylenol

fever spiked at midnite again took Tylenol, at 4am woke up sweating like a stuck pig, went back to sleep, at 7am and temp was 98.2 feel quite a bit better. We will see as it is day 8 since symptoms onset. So unpredictable it is so weird in that it comes and goes...

Doing ok fever got up to 101.2 took some tylenol now its around 99.6 so i feel a bit better still stuck

Fever spiked back up again... not horrible but still sequestered for another 72 hours... where is Eddie Murphy and Nick Nolte when you need them.

At this point I dont remember... but I found it thru twobillsdrive back some time ago while still working on the Hill. I was known under a different moniker over there more political... just observed here because I didnt get to see many games on TV or go to many games in DC

Co-worker of mine whose uncle was admitted for covid 3 days ago died of a heart attack today... Took them til yesterday to locate him because he switched hospitals. On a bright note, just took a walk with my wife across the Cross River Reservoir dam... beautiful day.

72 hours and I can get back into the soup without so much worry

Fever finally broke last night... wooo hoo

Only open for hospital workers and essential personnel who know lots of false negatives... either way feel like crap and yeh need to get better.

So day four of this crap... though test was negative Im still running a low grade fever, cough and abdominal cramp... living in a hotel room away from family... actually a nice break if I didnt feel like crap... could be the flu too whatever cant wait till its over.

I am farting around my wife and kids while announcing health check :). Woody I feel you more than most and a lot of people around me in the healthcare field feel done. As you said finding your balance, pacing yourself, checking in with close friends who know you and can set you straight not just blow smoke up your ass so that you can go back out there and be of service again is what important. You guys celebrate, betting most health care workers will just want a vacation and too sleep like rip van winkle... actually most want to do that now.

Was just out at my car and saw my hockey bag in the back... always thought itd help keep my immunity up... either way i felt a wanton nostalgia pang as I walked away... hockey... how quaint..

PS I have more energy, still occasional abdominal cramping and Im not a lady so its weird, like when I ran xcross country. But otherwise my wife is freaked.

Yeh I was reading that too... most sites say if youve been tested assume you have or had it. Monitoring everything anyway.
