  1. Do you see my references? I'm in my mid 30's...... I am not saying it is him, but the profile fits. I don't think he would be worried about changing the city in telling a story about a hotel, 4 years ago. The Edmonton Oilers sheets makes sense....he was born in 1983....Gretzky was there until '88 and the core of the team until '91. That's prime, kiddy bedding right there. If he was an older guy, he would be entering his teenage years, sleeping with Jari Kurri. That don't jive. Talking about his brothers with kids matches, and in the only family article I read, he goes back to Edmonton for a while every year to spend time with his family even though he lives in Cali.
  2. You guys are going to love when I say who I think this is..... I'm sure there is misdirection in here in some parts.....but the key to me in reading only his last few posts is he gave up golden info. Assuming Pittsburgh was the city they were visiting on Canadian Thanksgiving, and that is probably not something he would be worried about changing.....there have been only 3 teams in the past 20 years that would have been in Pittsburgh the day before or on Thanksgiving. The 1992 Sabres, 2008 Flyers, 2011 Panthers. Sabres....nobody left in the league....Panthers....just happened so less likely to share the story.....so I looked at 2008 Philly. The guy is old enough to be an old-time Oilers fan. I found a player from Ft. Saskatchewan which is pretty much Edmonton. He says 6'2" 200lb and unemployed........the guy I'm thinking is listed as 6'1" 206lbs....and enough of a d-bag to round up and down. The common name Jonesy is mentioned....played on this team with Randy Jones The only thing that has thrown me off a little, is that his parents are divorced, but could very well refer to his stepmom as "mum", as a term of endearment while not actually calling her Mom. His dad is also a lawyer and the pickup trucks are a little off. It's our buddy.....Joffrey Lupul While my confidence is not extreme, he has been very quiet on Twitter recently and wrote an article or two for askmen.com. The style fits his profile and he mentions brothers and kids....which also fits. While he may tell true stories, when he mentions guys he hates like Phaneuff and Briere....those could be friendly barbs, and he also mentions other past Flyers in barbs. I thought I was cold until he just mentioned Buffalo and Ehrhoff according to someone. I'm not going on a wild goosechase, but this guy has already shown he is willing to say some goofy stuff and get attention. If anything else sticks out, maybe this makes sense. Oh, and his original contract went through the lockout so if you averaged it over 3 years it was in the 7-800k range
  3. No good deed goes unpunished!
  4. Let me guess....UB? We had the exact same issue. Are you my suitemate? I was almost going to bring this up when Weave said he was taking in an exchange student. Maybe he will go home and find he hit the Daily Double.
  5. It's gonna taste like Wilbur.
  6. They will be free-ballin this week. Everyone is chillaxin. Just reading some interviews.....Stevie admits he tempered down too much. Barnett saying swarm and make plays and not worrying about mistakes. If you are good enough, big plays will overcome mistakes. I think these guys have it in them to de-Sabre themselves this week. They do it, they will be stoked for Tenn...get bodies back after the bye and 2 weeks to look to Houston and NE. It's a great prescription for a springboard.
  7. I think you just may have made the most brilliant, unintended connection since the invention of the chicken wing. Hmmmnnnnn........Benghazi.......hummer......Obama....... Someone do some research on the fine fellows involved and get back to me on that one.
  8. ........Nevermind...........
  9. Good job. It's been proven you have a 74% better chance at adoption going smoothly if you own a minivan. Pulling up in a rig might not go as well.
  10. I've pooped in public less times than Andrew Peters has NHL goals. But if you've read Weave's booze and food threads.....you may understand the need for a sidetrip
  11. That's funny right there.
  12. What would you rather have 3 hours of? 10 sessions of a hot, 21 year old with C cup num nums, tonsils of velvet, and a dusting of lake effect snow? or.... 41 sessions of Millsie, Pommers, Stafford, and the rest of the tonsils of velvet? It pretty much is the same price. Of course this is aimed at the single gentlemen in the room.....
  13. I prefer the company of honest, non d-bag people. I give Biden the checkmark over Ryan to this point. Ryan acts as if he is some conservative reformer, yet he panted with his tail in the air for all of the stimulus, dollar-killing BS that came his way.
  14. Let's start casting...... Verne Troyer as the assistant trainer
  15. I don't like Ryan......he talks to people much like Gore...as if he is reading a 5yo a bedtime story. Now if Mitt's handlers do the same sprucing on Ryan....maybe I won't cringe. I actually like Biden as a person. He was always pretty straight from the hip with his comments, which is why he gets into trouble. He's no brilliant fella, but if you put me in a bar, Biden is more likable.
  16. Corey McIntyre could probably choke one
  17. I think the main difference is that I don't tell anyone who has a negative outlook on the Bills that they are being negative or not a true fan. i see valid reasons and lack of production from them and people have every right to be concerned, indifferent, or upset. I just see a group of guys who i still believe in. I need to believe in you as a person first, and if you have enough talent.....then I trust they will figure it out. It's much easier to support something that way than it is in reverse...because eventually, D-bags get exposed for the d-bags they are. Sometimes D-bags are commited and game, which lets them succeed on a level playing field. But I am of firm belief that you give me an honest person with some talent, grit, and work ethic, and they will eventually get the job done. I am confused as to why it isn't happening, and so is Chan. No room for error now. I like the Major League comparison. Chan is fine. And nobody wants to see Ralph naked.
  18. I wish you would counterpoint with stories like this every time. I'll be back in 5..... :P
  19. True dat. He was only showing off the math skills and logic
  20. Next time you are at the airport and a blueshirt lezbo has her hand on your girlfried's whoohaa....you might think differently! All because of a few boxcutters?
  21. Butler/Donahoe/Brandon/Levy/Nix Phillips/Williams/Mularkey/Jauron/Gailey Regier Ruff And tell me how many of those games I've waived my muffy pom-poms with no shame for the boys in Blue and Red? SDS actually called me an ahole because I said they'd never win with Donahoe and Mularkey!
  22. In 6th grade the gym teacher used to power rank the girls in class for square dancing. When you had 1 hottie, 2 okays, and a woofer in the square, guys would fight to avoid the woofer. To avoid hard feelings we just set up a square of hotties, a square of sure why nots, a square of if the plane was crashing, and a square of bubonic plague. This way everyone got the glory but had to take their medicine as well.
