The network that we can stream the game on is always beneficial. ESPN has it listed as NHL network but I’m not confident ESPN gets anything right with the NHL.

Dahlin certainly doesn’t check everyone’s boxes but he’s probably the right choice. I don’t know if it was documented on how they chose the captain. Was it coaches choice or did the players vote? Also, being a captain doesn’t always mean you are the team’s best leader. It means you are the face of the team and represent the org in a professional manner. Rasmus meets that criteria. Sometimes a little too buttoned up. I’d like our captain or at least team leaders to be a little unhinged so opposing teams are always a little uneasy.

As someone who drafted Josh at 1.2 in my fantasy league, I feel this.

Hopefully it’s just a learning curve thing or whatever as Puljijujarvi is one of the few if not the only NHL caliber on their roster last night. Otherwise, we could be looking at a lot of football scores this season for the Sabres.

Not sure if they changed anything but my brief foray into MSG+ was easily, unequivocally the worst streaming service I’ve ever experienced. That was last season, not sure if they fixed it (doubt it) but I made it exactly one game before switching services. (Technically my BIL, gave me his login credentials for a service not to be named but let’s just say, I get it Directly).
