  1. The Spittin' Chiclets guys had Tkachuk on, and Tkachuk was saying he feels sorry for the Leafs because they live in such a high-pressure fish bowl. Also, I think there's a lot of truth in this: So, the question becomes: if Marner were to go to another team, does he learn from his experience in Toronto and figure out how to compete in the playoffs in another, more chill market? If he can do that, then what's to stop the Sabres from trying to get him?
  2. Okay, this is pretty cool. Always wanted to be a fly on the wall in one of those lines...
  3. Haha! Comedy in 2025 is straight out of a Ray Bradbury book.
  4. Such horrible coverage: Toronto homerism which gets in the way of showing goals in real-time.
  5. That's what it looked like to me.
  6. Marchand. And what a tip.
  7. Yeah, I found the clips on X. Nasty. Hope he's okay.
  8. Did something happen to a ref? I missed the first 30 seconds of the 2nd.
  9. Man, Scheifele. That's the worst possible outcome. I was hopeful they would at least kill the penalty.
  10. I'm sorry, but SS is ready to trade JJ now?
  11. There are some arguments that make sense, such as "Leafs fans are obnoxious". Then there are arguments that are ridiculously ridiculous, such as "hockey players who wear helmets are wusses".
  12. The Leaf's locker room right now:
  13. The Leafs are trying to match the physical game the Panthers bring which is not the kind of game that got the Leafs into the playoffs.
  14. Not this regime. We'll be lucky if we get this guy:
  15. I never knew there was a Nintendo version of Spelunker. I used to play that game on my Atari 800 XL.
  16. Anyone getting "repeat of 2024" vibes, yet?
  17. BTW, balance has been returned to the Force in Raleigh.
  18. I think the Leafs are better at it this year, but the past two games are the result of Florida beating them down over the course of the series. Last year, the physical side was the Panther's strength: they upped the physical game and wore down opponents while being able to maintain their skill. This is what they're trying to go to Toronto and it seems to be working if Domi is any reflection of how the rest of the team is taking it.
