  1. A. That's all they have fundamentally. They will try and play an actual skill game, but once they start losing they'll turn back to goonery. B. Of course we'd want his head, that's how it works. I would like to see Frederic get his face handed to him on the back of a hockey stick blade - metaphorically, of course. C. The league may want it, though.
  2. I'm happy to cheer for that kind of obnoxiousness on a team that I support. Wish the Sabres had a Montour and a Tkachuk.
  3. You don't know that. Our players don't know how they'll respond to the playoff crucible. They need to get there and experience it to understand. Look at the Panthers - no way they endure a game like this without the playoff experience they already have.
  4. Oh boy this series is taking on quite the tone. Ought to be interesting from here on out.
  5. Boston has passed the threshold where their brand of goon/skill hockey is no match for skill/grit hockey.
  6. Yup, as expected Boston's bodies have hit a wall.
  7. Is it something like a concern that they may believe that, as individuals, they have already won (the contracts) and that they are mutually reinforcing the "spirit" behind that mindset, which ultimately is dangerous for a lockerroom because that weak, selfish spirit can spread faster than a spirit bent on fully committing to competitiveness?
  8. Of course the refs have to interfere.
  9. The thing is the Panthers PP was better than Boston's in the regular season.
  10. So, with digital HD OTA transmissions, you still technically need one of those. We have a smaller HD antenna for the times when we don't feel like messing with the computer or Android TV box and it needs to be aimed. I don't know if there's some newfangled wide-area array that you can set up in your attic that would replace a rotating antenna, but I do know the concept behind the OG antenna rotor control remains valid.
  11. Then he nearly had his head cleaved off at the neck from the skate coming down. Super dangerous all the way around.
  12. Such a cheap call. He was obviously playing the puck.
  13. Huge PK for the Canes there. This series is wonderfully violent. Agree, generally, but after seeing the replay that was a trip and not a dive.
  14. Boys, boys...you're making a mess of a perfectly tidy thread.
  15. Well, I guess we now have to wait. Our pick plus a prospect and/or player could net us a nice return for a top six plus a high first round pick (25+) especially if the player we throw in is Power.
  16. Thankfully I grabbed the image before they took down the post.
  17. This site has us taking Iginla 9/10 times. https://www.tankathon.com/nhl/mock_draft
  18. Let's say they win the lottery. What if Adams announces that they would trade the number one pick if whomever takes it also takes Skinner and his entire contract. Would you do it?
  19. Interpretation: He's going to have to pay Quinn, Peterka, UPL, Jokiharju, and Byram soon. The Skinner contract blocks a big-time top 6 signing. Best we can do is a few cheap bottom-six forwards.
