I, of course, have no evidence but if the stories about UPL being whiny to KA on the past are true, and that KA had visits with UPL in the past to address the whining, then I would suspect UPL whined some more after clearly reading the situation, so that KA would return UPL to the line up post haste. Of course, it could also be a devious maneuver to potentially cause the injury to become worse after rushing UPL's return from the conditioning assignment. These are the only circumstances that make sense other than KA is an utter moron.

The 5 headed Goalie Monster - What is the solution?
... replied to GASabresIUFAN's topic in The Aud Club
Ellis is quick, and clearly reads the play well, but he is rough around the edges. We need to see him in a few more games. I think between Levi & UPL you get the same results, and I'd rather keep Levi because he's light in the loins. Not a fan of UPL, so I wouldn't mind giving him his papers ASAP, but if playing him increases his trade value and/or the interest in trading for him, that's fine. But have this sh%t settled by the end of November. -
What a novel concept, I've only been an advocate for trading Power the past two seasons plus.

Because in 22-23 with 33 GP he had a .892, and in 24-25 with 55 GP he had a .887. For his career he's .898. He's also a miserable sod. Lyon is .904 for his career and lights up the room.

Roster building is a mad science, obviously. What should work, doesn't and when what shouldn't work on paper does, everyone is like "of course". But every roster is different and has its own set of parameters to tweak. If the Sabres' roster the past two games worked, why mess with it unnecessarily? Does this guy look like he thinks like your average hockey mind?
