If this trade could have happened swapping TT for Nylander, it would have been better. I think with some of the additions we have, we might not see TT as much this regular season. Meanwhile, we'll finally see Nylander get some regular ice time. Still, as per the discussion about ROR, I think that it was inevitable Nylander was going to be shipped out of here due to the various cosmic and circumstantial forces that influence such things.

Because, according to what was posted here (as I don't have access to the article) the inside sources didn't say anything about meddling. It reads to me like Graham is interpreting the information he has as not equaling "meddling", when, as I wrote for @TrueBlueGED, what "meddling" may be is subject to interpretation.

In a typical business structure with typical hierarchies, questions and input from an owner can definitely be considered meddling. Of course, the specific dynamics of the relationships and individual perception/interpretation of the threshold for "meddling" guarantee this conversation will never, ever, find a resolution.

Providing resources and latitude doesn't mean he provides those without questions and input.

I would also enjoy immensely being able to proclaim Botterill as my all time favorite Sabre GM and RK as the "best coach since Bowman, maybe even betterer". I really shouldn't be so pessimistic. Like I said, remove the stats from the prior two seasons and I might be thrilled. I don't recall his game from the playoffs, either, so I have no eye-test recollection to go on. These guys with injuries, though, coming in with the hopes of rebounding; we've been bit by that bug one too many times. I hope it works out.
