Saw a lot of playing time in Dallas filling in for various injured players and one of the best OLs in the game never missed a beat. Best suited for RG, but was never gonna unseat Zach Martin. Not a star, but a solid player.

Sorry Rayzor and all the other ball washing talking heads lauding the Sabres for their “effort” in a “great bounce back game”, but effort is the bare minimum requirement. This idea of confusing effort with results is bullcrap and I don’t buy it for a second. The only outcome that would have made this a great bounce back game was a win. Losers in six of their last seven and sinking like a stone. Effort my ass.

Gotta be both. Citing poor team defense doesn’t absolve the crap goaltenders of anything. Good goalies make saves when everything else goes to schit. Our goalies have done that at times but have failed to rise to the occasion far too often.

Unfortunately, waiving Comrie or any other goalie isn’t gonna stop the ridiculously high number of high danger shots we allow our goalies to face as compared to the rest of the league. If you haven’t seen it in the UPL thread, somebody posted the list of goalies facing the highest percentage of those shots and all three of our goalies are in the top 10, with two in the top three.

Every time? Are you sure about that? Because I can think of them not rebounding twice just in the last six games alone. They followed up the Columbus debacle with an even worse debacle against Boston and then the big loss to the Islanders with their worst performance of the year Thursday night against the Stars. Not only did we not rebound, we did the exact opposite. That said, I’ll be rooting as always that they follow your prediction and win today. Gotta stop the bleeding.

Ouch! All three of our goalies in the top 10 and no other team had more than one. We may wanna keep Levi far away from this mess until team defense becomes a priority. Comrie, UPL, and Anderson might need to be treated for PTSD after the season.

Reports are the Bills have already restructured Allen and Miller, freeing up $35m which gets them something like $17m under the cap now. Rumors are Dawkins, White, and Diggs will restructure as well, freeing up even more cap room. The Bills can be a player in free agency, once again proving the NFL cap is indeed a mirage.

Cook is not the transcendent, dynamic player that Robinson is. Not even close. But again, he won’t be there when we pick so it’s a moot point.

As you implied, it depends entirely on the RB and Robinson is a legit top 4 player in this draft. So relax, he won’t be there when the Bills select. But if by some miracle he is, I would have no problem with the Bills taking him. Playmaker is always a position of need.
