  1. Now 2-1 Rocket just 4 minutes in. Might be a barnburner tonight.
  2. Rousek with the quick answer and it’s 1-1.
  3. Well, that didn’t take long. 27 seconds in and the Amerks already down 1 zip.
  4. Somebody had to do it.
  5. “We want players who wanna be here.”
  6. Regarding the issue of “injury prone”, in the absence of a pre-existing condition, there really is no such thing.
  7. Pretty much how I saw it as well. Sometimes when I watch the Amerks, I get the impression that not one player on the roster is gonna make a good NHL player.
  8. Kulich is snake bit. I think he put a nice dent in the pipe when he hit it. Oh well. Crunch hang on for the 2-1 win.
  9. Absolutely. He made several stellar stops and I’m not ragging on Levi at all. Score could be much worse as he’s kept the Amerks in the game. But none of that makes me feel any better about the one he should have had.
  10. Crunch take the lead with .14 left in the 2nd. Sure, crappy D effort helped, but Levi should have had that.
  11. PP ineptitude appears to be organization-wide.
  12. Neuchev whiffs on a penalty shot.
  13. Fluky pinball carom off of Levi’s back as the Amerks give up a shorthanded goal. 1 zip Crunch. Jobst with a tip and it’s 1-1 halfway thru the first.
  14. You can say that again. You can say that again.
  15. Has it ever happened that the two teams that met in the very first game of an NFL season also met in the very last game?
  16. Is Donnie gonna give him those limited minutes with skilled offensive line mates or scrubs? And if he does give him higher skilled line mates, are those guys also seeing limited minutes as a result?
  17. I hate to say it, but given what I’ve seen of Kulich so far in the A, his D game makes VO look like a Selke contender. He’s just not close to being ready for the show, imo.
  18. As much as I dread seeing VO back in the lineup, Kulich just isn’t ready. Hard as it may be to believe, he has a worse 200 foot game than VO and is a bigger defensive liability on the ice.
  19. If you watched the entire sequence of that goal and still say that Bryson wasn’t a liability on the play, then I don’t know what to tell you. Simply put, that goal never even has a chance to happen if Bryson makes a routine, competent play with the puck a few seconds prior. Marginal players or not, my criticism is focused on the players in the lineup on any given night. The fact that Bryson isn’t an NHL quality player doesn’t exempt him from me saying he sucks and was a liability in the lineup last night.
  20. He can get three games in before the Sabres are even allowed to practice again.
  21. Watch what Bryson attempted to do a few seconds before the puck found the Shark player who shot and scored. Lazy attempt to control and clear the puck that went directly to the man who shot.
  22. He wasn’t a liability? He was directly involved in both goals against. Bryson.
