One of the only good things that is going to come out of this pandemic is the realization that most people haven’t a clue when it comes to analytics. These projections of millions make no sense other then explaining worst case scenarios which only happen if we do nothing.

You know us numbers guys.

Hundred percent agree on last sentence.

I’m not sure that last paragraph is true. Barasso was a son of a bitch but he was special. Haven’t seen the list but after the top 10, I believe very little separate the next 40/50.

Sabres Sign Forward Dawson DiPietro to an ELC
tom webster replied to Brawndo's topic in The Aud Club
Thats exactly right. At least this guy has speed which I believe is something they need throughout the line up -
You have to have watched the first few years of the Sabre’s to understand how unbelievable Crozier was. Plus he was acquired for Tom Webster so there is that.

I was going to mention Ann Wilson and Stevie Nicks. I also have a soft spot for Janis Joplin but an entirely different sound.

Updated: Pegulas and arena/hospitality workers

I don’t think it’s any coincidence that Boston, that is owned by Delaware North and Buffalo are doing the same thing. There is a lot at work here including a relationship that is forced upon the Pegulas because of a financing arrangement with regards to how arena was built. i still think they will change their stance but the employees will be taken care of either way. -
Our resident “prospects” experts can probably say it better but To give you an idea, I’ve seen lists of top 50 guys and neither he nor the Finnish winger are on there. Buffalo is almost always signing the second tier guys when it comes to these kind of signings.

Sarcasm, Eleven? Is that allowed?

That was my first year there but I don’t recall them.

No, Stage One was a bar on Main near Transit. i was at both concerts you mentioned at Clark Hall. Also, remember seeing Southside Johnny and the Asbury Park Jukes at Springfest on North campus in either 80 or 81.

That’s awesome. No one ever believes when I tell them Mighty Taco was right in the bar.
-
Yep, he hooked me up with tickets a couple times but usually he made me wait in line like everyone else. Corky has a good Stage One story as well. His wife was there playing pong with Bono the night John Lennon was killed.
-
Yeah, went to school with ole Harv. Can’t tell people that much anymore. Better story about Stage One, I ran in their one night to grab some Mighty’s and about 50 people were in their listening to some new band doing maybe their tenth Anerican show. I think their lead singer went by Sting......

I forgot about Cummings.

This is a pretty salient point. Most of what “PA” and others refer to as “poor” employees actually work for Delaware North. The game day staff that actually work for the team are in what are pretty high demand part time positions. -
Palmer was amazing live. I’m not artistically savvy enough to know if he was technically sound but he put on quite the show.

How is Paul Rodgers or Roy Orbison not mentioned. Truth is, if he wanted to, Prince could have been the best on all instruments. But, since I decided to post, I will modify the question with those I’ve seen. Justin Hayward Eric Clapton Joe Strummer Billy Sheehan Carl Palmer Producer Todd Rundgren

It’s not going to be more then two weeks. Where does it stop? Do they pay all the 716 that will be out of work when restaurants shut down? How about the PSE employees? A Chicago writer, with more access to actual numbers, estimated Chicago owners would be on the hook for over $5 million for arena employees alone. What if they pay them now, games are rescheduled and then the employees choose not to come back to work? What if offering assistance disqualifies the employee from government assistance? Like I said, we are likely looking at a decision that is two or three weeks away. AT and T has already told people they don’t have to pay their phone bill, eating at home will save most people money. There are better uses if our energy then telling other people what they should do during this time -

They announced they will he paid if games are canceled. The money is a lot more then some if the calculations. Decisions such as these are not taken lightly. -

I don’t know anything about his instagram but he has a deep appreciation for “classic rock” that he got from his father. He talked about it quite extensively during an appearance on ‘97 Rock. -
To those who asked and everyone else, I have no idea what is going to happen with tickets. As of now, they are operating under theory game will be made up.

I knew that. I mis-read your post. I thought you were saying this was first
