So you are saying the players knew when Bettman said to the effect "This CBA will allow the league to continue indefinitely".
The hospital has record revenue and asks you for a paycut. In fact, ALL hospitals asked you for a paycut.
Yeah. You can use it anywhere at the Arena. Concessions, tickets, etc. For the amount I would get for even a whole year doesn't amount to more than a hundred or so.
I held back on my last payment so technically I still owe THEM money.
You can always ask for the money back.
You only have the choices for the games that are currently "locked out". You don't lose your season tickets for taking the cash on the pre-season and 4 (so far) home games.
Miss Optimistic is leaving her money with the Sabres. If I were to take the money and the cancelled games get rescheduled I'd have to pay all over again. Besides, 4% interest is more than any checking/savings account would pay me.
I get where you are coming from but they get paid market rates.
If you were one of the elite, say, doctors in the world, would you take less than what you were worth?
Would you take a 20% cut in pay to give back to the hospital you work at so they could give the money to a struggling hospital across the country?
Or would you expect to get paid market rates and tell the hospital to get a better business manager.
I supposed higher priced STH may want their money back. I'm not sure myself.
Definitely not buying Amerks or Bandits tickets.
Even if you don't have seasons, what would you pick?
I wouldn't expect them to lose a year as you would have many UFA's like Perry, Getzlaf, Iginla, Hartnell, Fisher, Gonchar and dare I say, Roy.
What happens to the guys that already got paid their signing bonus is another story.
